I know it's gotten a bit slow—I was thinking that maybe the animals could be sent out to look for clues? If people submit numbers from 1 through 10 I could use that to tell everyone clues they find in the OOC thread, and you could work it into your posts.

I bumped the rp with a teeny somewhat filler post because dang it, this is NOT going in the graveyard!

Thanks, Cosmos and everyone! I'm sorry it took me so long to add some clues:

1. (Rhett Butler) see that the creatures don't eat or drink
2. (Angus) smell that the creatures emit a strange powdery scent—it makes you dizzy!
3. (Matilda) hear that the creatures make a high-pitched noise that humans can't hear
5. (Artemis) watch one of the creatures absorb the other
6. (Bitty) meet a human who hasn't been in contact with the creatures... he seems okay...
7. (Sammie) lick the hands of one of the humans—there's a bitter taste that makes you queasy—was it because they're petting the creatures?
9. (Luna) watch two of the creatures stare at each other, blinking a lot; is that how they communicate?

Most of the humans are out there, somewhat going about their day, but they don't seem to really notice much about their world except for the strange new pets they've adopted. They spend a lot of time in their homes staring at and petting these weird animals.

are we still into this RP? no one has posted since October?

I was wondering this as well. I'm more then willing to jump back in if others are interested in reviving it.

Sorry everyone, I think I'm gunna step out of this RP. I'm just not that into it anymore. If y'all would like, I can make a post writing Bitty out of the story...like he falls asleep and no one can wake him (this is actually pretty IC so... xD).
