I may be a fan of j-pop, j-rock and k-pop, but I don't really know anyone! I'm mostly into the electronica genre, trip hop, underground hip hop, and such.
I'll link my youtube channel if you'd like to get a feel to what I listen to ^_^.
https://www.youtube.com/user/britnissa
I haven't added any knew favourites recently..but it's a mix of trance, drum and bass, dubstep and such.
And I think maybe you guys would like this;
Such a gorgeous remix, I probably listen to it about every day. I have a larrrrggeee variety taste in music, including a little bit of country.
If I had to choose my favourite electronica genre, it'd be a tie between House and Trance ♥ Trance got me into that wonderful muuuusic!
This track always seems to make me want to shake my booty from this mix, I love dancing to House <3 (if you listen, can skip to 0:40 seconds)
One of my absolutely favourite Trance tracks EVER. Kyau & Albert is one of my favourite Trance artists, at a party festival a few years ago I went to, they played. I was in there for their whole set and squealed when they played "Are You Fine". K&A remade longer versions, but they don't do the song justice (well to me.) My best friend and I have been wanting to get matching tattoos that say, "you are made of sun"!
Annnnddd for you Ayumi Hamasaki fans; (for some reason you can't skip the beginning of this song if you wanted to.)
I luff music so muucchhh. I think Trance will be with me forever ;D Has a super special place in my heart. If I had the patience to learn how to DJ or produce music, I would haha.
also, thought I'd share with you all, just in case, you all are disney fans!
Such a cute song, and I ADOOREEE anything made by Kaskade (should check out his music!) The girl who is singing is from Late Night Alumni as well (same with Kasakde himself), gorgeous voice! Here is the link to the entire HOUSE*DISNEY track list, enjoyyy<3
^^ MUST LISTEN ^^ This is one of their most popular songs
..sorry Music is a large part of my life and I love sharing new music to anyone, or just sharing music in general!
I hope some of you enjoyed the songs I posted ^_^

Did anyone know that Tom Felton can sing and play the guitar? I DID NOT. I just stumbled upon his songs a few days ago and I am in such love. He has this adorable, honest way of singing and he just seems rather bashful to me. I also thinks he has such lovely songs with very sweet lyrics.
My favorite. I like how you can hear his accent.
This one has a soft, nice feel to it. I rather appreciate the natural, unedited sound of his songs. They are not glossed over or anything like that.

OK, I'm just going to have a little Swedish music party by myself in the corner here. As you were.
Maia Hirasawa is a Swedish-Japanese artist who sings mostly in English but also in Japanese and possibly occasionally in Swedish. (Not that many artists sing much in Swedish; it's a tiny market, since the language is spoken by only slightly more people than live in London.) Multi-lingual or what? This one's in English.
& another.
Anna Ternheim is another Swedish singer/songwriter - another who sings pretty much exclusively in English.
& Frida Hyvönen, also Swedish singer/songwriter who sings in English, but with a certain level of eccentricity not really reached by the others. She's very fond of singing love songs to cities:
I have glee for this song. Massive glee. I lived in London for years and well. Yeah. YEAH! This was the song of hers I fell in love with, really.
She has also written songs to Shanghai and New York. XD

I am absolutely in love with Alex Goot. He is a musician on Youtube and he is all I listen to anymore. I found him about two years ago and I just fell in love. He makes plays all instruments/makes all noises for all of his videos. He is SOO adorable, and I plan on marrying him, even though he's probably wayy older than I am :p He has many covers on his youtube but has many original songs on iTunes. My three favorites that he's written are on his channel also (I'm a liar, I love EVERYTHING. I'm so obsessive).

Wow, pretty impressive that he does all the music himself. o___o Dunno if it's the sort of thing I'm likely to really fall for but he can play!
@Jupiter, you're welcome! I always feel like my taste in music overall is pretty random, but if this bit works for you then that's good. XD
Hmm, what today? A classic of Swedish rock, Broder Daniel.
Shoreline is probably one of their better known songs.
Also brilliantly covered by Anna Ternheim:
I can be a bit .... about covers which are basically the same as the original, but creative covers? Made of awesome. Anna Ternheim definitely made this one her own.
Broder Daniel also did a whole chunk of the soundtrack to one of my favourite Swedish films, Fucking Åmål (I think released in the english-speaking world under the name Show Me Love? Anyway, I recommend it like a lot. It's about growing up in a terrible small town and then also you are a lesbian).
Whirlwind, with unofficial video someone has put together from the film:
And entirely unrelatedly, it isn't swedish music without Robyn I guess.
Here's a song about a robot? She basically loves songs about robots. Which is something I appreciate about her.

Right now, I'm listening to f(x) NU ABO. (Korean pop group) they're awesome, and far from the generic Kpop sound~

I've been getting into (finally) Vocaloid recently. My favorites are KOKORO (a cute song about a robot who gets a heart- there's a brilliant dub version by rockleetist on YouTube that's just incredibly emotional) and Cendrillion. Also, Melody.exe is great- and also has a dubbed rockleetist version on YT.
I've been buying some contemporary Christian music, too. A lot of the songs I've liked were in that genre, and a Google of the lyrics + a trip to Amazon gets them for cheap. (I'm loving Amazon- it lets me buy individual songs I like without getting the whole albums. Most albums in any genre really only have 2 or 3 good tracks, anyway.)
I also like Florence + the Machine, although some of their stuff is too creepy for me. A goth-y friend on Facebook posted a link to Howl on Youtube a few months ago, and I was really impressed by Florence's skill.
Also, random J-Pop singers like Utada Hikaru and Angela. (I love the new song from the Evangelion remake, "Beautiful World". I can't stand the series, but that song is just so epic. #_#)
Oh! And Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman music. I really think that they (and Joshua Bell) will be remembered as the "classic" singers from our century. Their music has this quality that will make it *last*, instead of just being popular for a few years. I like Groban's "Oceano" and "Mi Moreno" and Brightman's "The Second Element", "Time to Say Goodbye" and her stuff from the Phantom of the Opera (if you can find a track of her singing the main [slightly creepy] Phantom theme, it's well worth the buy- it's so beautiful but creepy at the same time.)
I'm also getting to like HB- another find via a friend's Facebook Youtube post. They're probably the only band within this genre: Christian Finnish Heavymetal Symphonic Rock. No, really- that's *really* their genre. It exists... ^^; I think that they're the only group in it, though. Most of their stuff isn't in English (although they have a few English albums) but they have the fast vocals, dissonance and great instrumentals I love... It's one of those things you have to hear to understand. The linked song is one of their English ones.
I'm also getting to like some oldies by groups like The Guess Who: link: These Eyes
I guess my tastes are really eclectic and random... I also like game themes and classical (especially Bach- who does the emotional-and-somewhat-creepy-with-lots-of-instrumental-texture sort of style I like. I admit that a lot of classical is kind of boring, but if you can find some of Bach's faster stuff, it's pretty cool- esp. the Brandenburg Concertos.)
And like most other kids of the 90's, I'll have to add this one: even though I've never seen the movie, I *LOVE* Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic. Maybe it's because it was constantly on the radio when I was an angsty little dumped tween, but I love that song. ^^;

One of my favourite bands in the world; Cain's Offering. They only released one album, due to the singer & other members of the band being dedicated to their actual bands. it was founded by ex-guitarist & founders of Finnish metal band Sonata Arctica, Jani Liimatainen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISdztDv_D0w
"My Queen of Winter"
Also written by Jani, (yes, Jani is my favourite song writer & guitarist <3)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6rfplh9kEU
"My Selene", to a Sailor Moon AMV. This is how I was introduced to this wonderful song. <3
My Selene is by Sonata Arctica, way before Jani quit the band. Favourite song by them. <33

I'm listening to EYES SET TO KILL(actually it's more like when am i NOT listening to them haha) and it just so happens the current song is The Listening =D
Which a lot people like to see as an anti religion song, but it's not! It's about losing hope in your religion when everything is going wrong and you know you pray but it doesn't help. That's what it's about wondering what you will do when you are all alone and no one is there for you. Yeah i really wanted to get that out haha
Oh and the song changed to Heights now =D (also by EStK)

Ah, music. The voice of the soul.
I can enjoy and listen to just about any genre out there minus rap and country, and even I can find a few gems among the piles of crap. My moods usually decide what I will be listening to that day. Lately I've been on an Adele, Hatsune Miku, Kaskade, Diesel Boys, Ben Sage, McLars kick.
Mazzy Star is awesome if you like Dream Pop.
And Brit...you're a fail. I was listning to Dubstep before it was trendy or even known what it was. You just never realized thats what I was listening to at the raves.

I love classic rock, some of today's rock, 90's pop, and some of today's pop. I like some RB. I do enjoy listening to Jazz and Classical music.
I'm really picky when it comes to pop music. I'm not big fan of most of today's pop artists aka Lady Gaga and Ke$ha.
I'm not big fan of the following: rap hiphop metal, punk, ect. Just music where the singer is screaming. country. (though I do enjoy some country artists like Johnny Cash and Taylor Swift)
