| Hello!
So I've been using a version of photoshop since forever (I don't remember but almost a decade I think). When it comes to graphics I severely prefer it to any program I've ever used, and I know it for things I like to make like the back of my hand, but to be honest I had nothing but problems when I tried to use my drawing tablets with it. I've had a few of them over the years from different brands and none of them seem to work all that well.
I recently followed this video (no malware or problems so far, I use norton 360) to download and use the program. It was a bit confusing at first, but I've already fallen in love with it. Granted I have a lot of knowledge on how things MIGHT work from photoshop, but i've been able to pick up a lot with out a single bit of help in just a few hours of playing around with it. My tablet works like a dream with it. I actually have a huge interest in drawing now and I think I can finally start practicing now that it's not a battle.
Does anyone else use Paint Tool Sai? what other drawing programs do you use? |

| Now that I have a tablet i've been using it more, it has a super duper awesome tool (the blender) that makes everything sooo easy! that I've been seriously thinking purchasing Paint Tool Sai.
What i like about Sai is that brushes can be created so easily and of course the main reason why this software is the best for drawing/painting is the blender, is a life saver!!!!
Oh Queenie if i recall correctly I set some brushes on the masterlist if you want to check it out ^^
EDIT: The other software for painting/drawing that i know are Krita and Sketch, never had a chance to use them. |

| I use Paint Tool SAI as my main drawing program with Photoshop Elements 4 as my support program. xD I prefer SAI because it is way better for drawing than Photoshop since it has vector/linework layers. The only thing I don't like about it is that it lacks a snap-to-grid feature. |

| I've always used Photoshop for graphics, however anything original art-wise I have always done via GIMP. I find it much more user-friendly and it has some really good tools that can be manipulated to achieve quite a lot. And if it does happen to lack that one thing I may need I can just open the file up in Photoshop real quick and then go back to GIMP after finishing up that touch in PS. |

| First drawing program ever: MS Paint (early elementary years, but I never accomplished anything at all useful.) Then, KidWorks. (Mac) After thst, KidPix Studio (also Mac). KPS is where I got into pixel art and pixel animation=for the g=first time.
Tried my hand at Corel Draw(3 or 6, I don't remember, but it was on Win 95 or 98). Felt super overwhelmed by it, and that terror carried over tomy first introduction to Photoshop 7. I spent years with Paint, not that I could make anything worthwhile, then got reintroduced to Photoshop where my digital art finally started to shine. I tried Paint Tool Sai but just couldn't get into it, have Gimp but rarely use it. Definitely love Photoshop, but would LOVE to upgrade to a newer version. XD I now solely use PS for my digital art, except pixel art, whicj I use Paint for.
I javen't had an opportunity to ude a tablet thougj, which I reeeeeeally want/ meed to do. So I'm always looking for recommendations.
What is it about PS that's so hard to use witj a tabley? Which vetsion of PS do you use, and what tablet do you habe? And what style of art-- graphics/ editing, d5awing, coloring, pixel art, or something else? |
