| Just saw this post on twitter :https://twitter.com/BunnyTuxedoMask/status/814176623410946049 ![[FAKE]Season IV is cancelled Firefo10](https://i.servimg.com/u/f37/19/54/31/59/firefo10.jpg) Translation : Because of many problems of censorship by LGBT content in several countries, Toei decided to cancel #SailorMoonCrystal Season IV. Let me explain :Outside of Japan SMC Seasons I & II were aired in China ,Albania ,France ,Germany and Portugal(I may miss on or two).Out of these only France and Portugal were worried over the show's LGBT themes and TOEI idk cancelled Season IV . What do you think of it ? It is true or just SMC is on hiatus ?

| If you look into the comments, after being asked what his sources were, the author stated it was a joke. I don't think Toei Animation would cancel a series just because of some countries. It would be much more likely that they don't air Season IV there, rather than cancelling it. |

| I agree with Kai. This story is obviously false, as a quick Google Search brings up no such results concerning a cancellation on any Sailor Moon or anime websites, and particularly because the author cannot provide any sources to back up his story. Always make sure to find multiple credible sources when you are unsure about something you encounter online, especially on platforms with the ability to quickly spread false information such as Twitter and Facebook. |

| I never trust something if the only "source" is from an unofficial channel. Still, I do wish they'd release some news soon. We're reaching the one year anniversary of when season three was announced. *sigh* |
