Alright, so I had started this a while back, before we got the whole rp section up and running as it is today... I really would like to do a AU (alternate universe) RP going. I've decided I want to be a Mau Cat, and play a role similar to Luna/Artemis... just with a whole new set of people If that makes sense..

Any one interested? ^^ I know I had like 6/7 people interested last time.

I've been asked to go into a bit more detail on what I'm looking for.

Essentially I'm suggesting that we RP our own set of Sailor Scouts to wake up. AKA, create new first season with our own characters ^^

I'm also all for RPing in the future, past, or current times

well i thinking this could go two ways.

1. Its an alternate universe, so same solar system, but different characters as the Senshi of the Solar System.

2. ANOTHER Solar System that due to its similarity of the planet arrangement, it has an Earth much like ours and therefore ends up with a similar set up of Senshi

I was thinking Alternate universe with NEW characters. Not using the current canon characters. All characters would be OCs including villains. But this could easily allow for a "Sailor Earth" if done this way cause it doesn't necessarily have to be the "prince".

Yes, but from what I understand that doesn't seem to be the intent (but i could be misunderstanding that). Plus thats just how I was thinking it. It can really be whatever. ^^;

we really really need to start up support groups for people who love specific characters too much XD

We could make up our own star system and make the number of planetsmatch the number of interested roleplayers, that way we aren't bound by a specific number of needed players, but if we go that route we would have to communially decide both upon the senshi Fukuoka and the attack type of each planet, not to mention the relative attack strength. And then there's the specialized items and society... modern, or earlier time period? A place like America, or Japan? So many choices...

If we decide to take the less complicated route and go solar with au, I vote they be from the US or Canada, just because most of us know our own culture waaaaay more than Japan's ^^

Good idea. Maybe the role player's character could be from their own country if they so choose?

Also I was very much considering using my old OC, Sailor Aurora. She wasn't a planetary senshi though (and she needs to be seriously rewritten lol).

Also, I would honestly prefer that we DIDN'T get too crazy, complicated, or in a hugely long RP.

Here are my reasons why:

#1. Um... I kind of run a forum, and so my RP time may be limited. Therefore reading a billion posts about an intense storyline may not go over so well with an over worked brain >.>

#2. We may not even know if we, as RPers, work well together. Some people have different RP styles, or may want to take the story in a totally different direction than others. I'd like to start small and simple, mostly because I've only occasionally RPed before, and never Sailor Moon. (yes I KNOW there is a practice forum, but I'm confident enough that I don't need that)



I like the idea of using a common location. And I like the idea of kinda copying the sailor moon solar system.

I am however open to maybe making the planets in power mixed up... Liiiiike, maybe one of Jupiter's moons is the ruling power, or something similar.


Honestly, I am still open to what ever, I would just prefer some form of structure so we aren't 100% making every detail up as we RP... Some times it's nice to make the events in advanced, and just flesh them out.

Are we talking something like Ganymede is the central hub of their ancient solar system rather than the moon --
EX:) Sailors Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, (Moon?), Jupiter, etc., are trying to find the Ganymede Princess and the Imperial Magnetite Stone (... 'cause Ganymede has a magnetic field, which is weird for a moon)

Or that, instead of using the planets in the solar system, we choose one planet (Jupiter or Saturn) and make up moon senshi for them that they're searching for the planetary princess?
Example: Sailors Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto are searching for Princess Jupiter and the THUNDERSTONE! ((Read in "THUNDERDOME!" echo voice)).

OR! That the senshi that awaken on earth belong to the biggest moons in the solar system?
EX:) Sailors Ganymede, Titan, Callisto, Io, Moon (... maybe rename to Diana, Luna or Artemis for flow?) and Europa are looking for (random planet)'s Princess and the (random generated name) crystal?
