| Chinese Recipes One of the most well-known things about China is its food. So, here you'll find a collection of recipes for Chinese and Asian food. All of them are my mom's, by the way. Glass Noodles Boil your noodles until they are transparent and when you can slice them. Then, drain the noodles in cold water and add sesame oil, before letting sit. Then, stir-fry ground pork in oil before adding soy sauce and pickled radish to the pot. Set this aside, and scramble two eggs before pouring into pan. Spread out the mixture so the eggs are thin, and then cook before slicing them. Set aside. Slice tender leaves of Napa cabbage, and stir it into the glass noodles with pork, eggs, and radish. Miso Soup Boil water and add miso paste and granulated fish stock. When it boils, slice the tofu into cubes before adding to pot with seaweed, and cook for two minutes before serving. Basil Shrimp
Stir-fry shrimp until almost cooked and set aside. Stir-fry sliced bell peppers and basil leaves in same pot until soft. Then add shrimp back and season with salt and soy sauce.
Enjoy!

| These recipes, so simple yet they look so delicious! I'm glad you chose ones where I can actually find the ingredients. However, what sort of noodles are the glass noodles? Are they like rice noodles or something? It sounds so yummy.
Ya know...considering they always serve miso in "Japanese" restaurants here in the States I always thought that was more a Japanese thing but thinking on it, japan takes a lot of its food influence from China so I wouldn't be surprised.
I like food. I would love to see more food things xD |
