The nights are full of thunderstorms and the days have a bright sun. The sky is clearer today though.

Outside in dawn, in the mid 70s/25?c, we're expecting higher temps in the 110sf/40c range and less humidity this week.

Well... there's a chance for tornados today. That's Michigan for ya.

Currently 84*F with a high of 94*F expected today. Humidity is at 46%, so the temperature feels like 102*F .... and it's only 11:30AM.

In the news, Super Typhoon Soudelor approaches Taiwan and eastern China, and winds are at 150mph with gusts up to 200. Last month, there were 3 typhoons in a row north of the Philippines landed in the same countries.

Here the weather is beautiful and gorgeous, although still hot: 110s with lows going down to 75f/24c.

Just had a severe thunderstorm go through-so severe that even tornado funnels were starting! No one in my area probably even knows what to do if a tornado comes through-they are very rare.

I was in the town where that storm was the worst working. I have to go in tomorrow to help oit the rest of the managers to clean up 1000s of dollars in lost product.

I watched every one of those pictures happen for the most part. They weren't letting anyone leave the town due to fallen trees and wires. I had to walk three miles to meet my coworkers friend for a ride , then we had to two track on a dirt road through small fallen trees to even get to a main road. We still don't have power at our house. Luckily, we have a generator. We booked it up to the tv, wifi and water, because why not. Lol. Fun times. You never see this in Michigan, so it's quite unnerving.

That's rough, Starchild! It was just wind, hail, rain and down drafts-some people lost power, but not many where I live.

Last night, light rain fell in Indio where my family lives, but not a drop fell over my home. Clearing and some gray and white clouds. 105f is today's high, so I have to stay indoors or hang out in the shade.

Its been rainy for 3 days now

Highest temps of the year yesterday: 115F/over 40c! HOT as hell...and we're expecting a similar (or higher) temp reading this weekend. (Pray for my A/c not break down in the worst of it).

Winds blew all day and kicked up a haboob (desert sandstorm) over the Palm Springs area...GOD, my allergies acted up and before 10pm my eyes itch and nose drips, high temps  return to 110s this weekend and a chance of thunderstorms: I seen one northeast of me in the Joshua Tree Natl Park. I'm going to a community pool with the family on Sat. for my stepson's Birthday and sunday is where we have a dinner for him in Denny's.

FINALLY spring is here. The weather has been warm for the past few days, and sunny. The news was lying when they said it was gonna rain

This weekend marks the beginning of fall or autumn (in meteorological terms), because highs go down to the mid 90s, humidity goes way down and lots of sunshine.

hot ans miserable

Humid. Muggy. 80-90 degrees. My joints, asthma and sinuses have not been kind.

Very terrible: 110-115F (except when clouds cover the sun, 100-105F) with a heat index of over 130! So humid and sometimes it's too sunny. 2 weeks left in summer before autumn comes around the corner.

Whaaa...that's terrible Solipsi Rai! And I thought my 90 - 95 degrees was really annoying. It's been so humid I wake up sweating most nights. *sigh* I dunno what kind of a winter we're in for though. Maybe I shouldn't complain. ^^

Today it was over 100F, humidity was 97% and my school does not have air conditioning hurray!!!!   I seriously need to move
