Second time this month: temps near 120f today with 40-50% humidity from monsoonal moisture in So CA. When I get the carts outside, the heat rises off the asphalt to make the air temps hotter than they are.

It rained for 2 days straight. We got about 18" in 30 hours, didn't check the overall rain fall in the 48 hours but i imagine it was near or at 24" or higher for my area. I heard other areas got way more than that. All the flooding. All the flooding. x_x

12 noon and all's well (LOL)...very nice: full sun and highs 87-92F range in the Coachella Valley, where the Desert Trip music concert event is held this weekend. Welcome to Indio CA, sir Paul McCartney, the Stones, the Who, Bob Dylan, George Waters and Neil Young. But, earthquake advisory in effect until Mon. for this valley and Imperial valley, the Salton Sea fault had a swarm of tiny tremors for days.

Finally the rain that started from Monday stopped !Though is 9pm and there are about 62F degrees .It'll be a cold night .

And wishes the best of luck to anyone in Central FL along the Atlantic coast, then GA and the Carolinas, hurricane Matthew is one powerful punch (category 4 or 5, downgraded to 3 as of noon or3pm EDT). The worst hurricane to strike the US mainland since Katrina (2005) flooded New Orleans and the Miss gulf coast, and (1992) Andrew's eye made landfall south of Miami in Dade county. Earlier this week, Matthew devastated Haiti where 500+ were dead and colossal damage, the nation where they had the M7 earthquake in Jan 10, 2010, is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere...and Matthew drenched the nearby Dominican Republic, and swept through Jamaica, eastern Cuba and the Bahamas.

It's 66*F now, but we're expecting storms starting tomorrow evening and lasting the rest of the upcoming week.

It's not a hurricane so I'm going to say it's good! XD

NICE! Cloudless skies, highs around 90f and expect a late afternoon breeze. It's going to be good all week in Southern CA.

Sunny and breezy, around 45-50 degrees. Perfect fall weather.

Getting colder, at 50 degrees or lower.

Yesterday, two t-storms over the Coachella valley dumped a good amount of rain. Highs around 80f, more humidity (30%?) and clearing skies. I enjoyed the weather in camp in the mountains last weekend, lows were under 50f though (get out the sweater jacket) and highs were 80s when it was over 90f in the desert.

It's sunny and chilly out. Very nice out.

The wind and rain today was so fierce that it demolished my umbrella. Bent every metal spine in the canopy!

I wish it could snow in Philadelphia now! It's like below 55 and no snow!Even though I already know that 32 degrees Fahrenheit is the freezing point.

It simply won't stop raining. It's pretty cold already as well.

That's the reason why I'm late for school Live Lesson, and slept late. I wake up when the sun is out (8:00 AM), if it's dark, I sleep longer, too long.

^pretty much the exact same situation at my place. Anywhere between 30-45*F, windy and rainy. It's such a pain to take the dog out, especially since he doesn't seem to care about the rain. ^^;
