so i noticed the description for the forum..and well i have some manga art stuff i've done...^^ figured i'd post a page or two..to explain, this is a universe i created where Usagi and Chibiusa have switched places..they're still the same person. same goes for their kitty guardians, Luna and Diana..so..here's a few pages and hope you guys like it! i did trace it over..but i changed and colored it myself!^^

EDIT: i decided to just post all the pages..this is it for this segment! next up? we see this universe's Chibiusa's Black Lady form.^^ after that? who knows.

I really like your comic book style! It has this strange twist of American style and Japanese Manga that is really cool to look at.

The premise is a bit... that's Chibi Usa kissing her father. XD I mean, I know that it is not because you switched the characters and all but still! Hee.

actually this isn't my style at all!^^0 i traced over the original comic and changed the bit parts i needed. i try to give credit though! i could only dream of drawing this well.XD

and yeah i know..that's why this little universe of my creation is one of my favorites. it's just so strange and mind-twisting!<3

I strangely like it. I mean, I know that you traced it but because you were tracing and not drawing of your own accord, the lines have a slow paused aspect to them, not a smooth flow. But I like this, it looks deliberate. And I like the flat graphic quality of it.

sooo with the first segment all posted, time to post the alternate version of Black Lady!...although that is not her name here...this segment is unfinished so i will reveal her name. in this universe, Black Lady is Ebony. and Luna joins her mistress, becoming Hecate of the Black Moon.

anyway these are my characters i'm playing as. the girl on the right is who she looks like. Chibiusa! but she's from an AU where Beryl's invasion of the moon failed and no one dies and the Silver Millennium continues on! her name is Princess Nectaris Serenity, but usually just Nectaris. the man on her left is her uncle, Prince Yue Kou from yet another AU, where Seiya travels too far back in time, hoping to meet Usagi before Mamoru, and ends up in the Silver Millennium where he meets and falls in love with Queen Serenity. believe me, these two were very startled to meet each other, but Nectaris loves having an uncle! her grandmother on the other hand was extremely disturbed to have a son.

EDIT: also, i comissioned someone to draw Nectaris, and they accidentally drew her dress in this picture...i decided to keep it and color it myself.^^

I loooooove it! Chibiusa looks so pretty

ah ah! XD her name is not Chibiusa, it's Nectaris. cause she was born in the silver millennium, where japanese language does not exist yet. and Usagi will never be because Serenity did not die, and so there can be no chibiusa. well not exactly, Setsuna calls her daughter Chibiusa, though her full name is Theiusa.

decided to do an update of my arts stuff.^^

this is a universe i created where Nehelenia has a child named Mikazuki with Neo Queen Serenity and raises her inside the mirror. Serenity eventually rescues her though. more story below the picture!



About 7 years afer Neo Queen Serenity rescued her daughter with Nehelenia from the mirror, Princess Lady Serenity was finally about to be wed to her childhood love Priest Helios and be crowned Queen of Crystal Tokyo. It was a joyous day, and all were excited. And no one noticed the silent, sly smile on Princess Mikazuki's lips.

Princess Lady Serenity and Priest Helios stood at the altar together, and said their final vows. They turned

around to the cheers of everyone in the crystaline church, smiling at the mass of people there. When suddenly, Princess Lady Serenity's smile twisted a little. Without warning, she blasted Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion with a wave of dark energy, similar to what the Black Moon Clan had used in their attack many years ago. The Silver Crystal reacted exactly as before, and sealed around the king and queen to protect them. Seeing this, a few people from the crowd and corners of the church rushed forward, killing the senshi guardians before they could transform.

Helios looked at his bride in shock, asking her what she was doing. But instead of Princess Lady Serenity, Princess Mikazuki was standing next to him, with his ring on her finger. She smirked, mocking her new husband as she explained that Chibiusa was now gone. Whether she was dead or alive, she wouldn't say. but now Helios was her lawfully bound husband, and as the only remaining daughter, she was now Queen of Crystal Tokyo.

In the years after her take over of Crystal Tokyo, she had three daughters. Her eldest, Ikari, middle Akumu and youngest Nayami. as they grew older, she refused to name any one of them her heir and encouraged their fighting for dominance. She did have a son once, but he had died when still young. Mikazuki had only chuckled lightly at the news and had the body buried, leaving Helios to mourn the loss and the servants to whisper that one of the little princess's had done it.

Helios is quite sad he was unable to marry his lady, and is a shadow of his former self. as king and husband to Mikazuki, he is unable to go to Elysion anymore, where he might have been able to slowly absolve his grief. his misery is added by seeing his daughters so twisted and dark, unable to help them see the light that their aunt and grandmother had once had. but he is respectful to Mikazuki, and remains true to her, though he hopes some day her sister will appear one day to take back her throne. though it seems like that may never happen...

Ikari- the dark red haired girl, and the eldest daughter. Her name means Hatred. she very much believes as the eldest, she's the only one who deserves to be Queen. if she were strong enough, she would just get rid of her mother and sisters like her long lost Aunt had been, but cannot get close to the Silver Crystal and she has no senshi powers. So she tries sucking up to her mother by wearing her colors, and wearing her grandmother Nehelenia's hair style.

Akumu- the pale blonde haired girl and middle daughter. Her name means Nightmare. her name is actually an irony, considering her father was a protector a dreams. she does feel rather fond of her father, though is unfortunately too corrupted by her mother's raising to truly ever really care for him. though she does show it a little by wearing a gown inspired by his priests robes. outwardly she refuses to play her mothers game, and does not even wear the traditional royal odango, though she secretly very much would like to be queen, reflected in her choice of coloring for her gown, wearing her grandmother Nehelenia's colors due to her confidence of becoming queen. Instead of fighting openly, she sits in the background, waiting for either her sisters to destroy each other, or take out the remaining sister when she is weakened suitably.

Nayami- the pale blue haired girl and youngest daughter. Her name means Agony. Nayami is a rather aloof girl with graceful airs, though in her worst moments she's inherited a little of grandma Serenity's old clumsiness. While she outwardly fights with Ikari viciously for the throne, secretly she doesn't really want to be queen which shows in the fact she wears none of the royal colors. she just wears the odango as a kind of mocking gesture. She's really quite happy being a princess and doesn't care much for politics. She just cares about keeping up appearances and seeing that cruel little smile on her mother's face when she sees her daughters fighting.

Ok. Wow. I love this. Please show us more.

I love love LOVE how you use patterns/textures in your images. It creates a certain elegance that I ADORE. Your shading is awesome as well, by the way. Cell shading is like, my favorite.

and omg i feel so flattered...XD i wish my shading were better! i don't feel like it's cel shading level yet, but thank you so much! i do enjoy the patterns and textures too! i just wish i had more...all the good stuff is for photoshop, and i don't know how to convert files for photoshop to be used for mangastudio!T_T

I think your cell shading is wonderful. You've got all the right saturation changes. :3
I will say one thing though. Don't be afraid to go bold with your cell shading. Heck, look at anime. XD Please don't be offended if I bring this up. I just LOVE cell shading so I'm kinda excited when other people do it as opposed to "tool shading"

new art time! i did this earlier. it's a coloring of a line art. it's suppose to be Lady Serenity in the Silver Millennium, meeting a young Pluto. but i decided to switch them! i think it looks awesome.^^

this is Princess Persephone, the princess of Pluto. in this AU that belongs to me and elila, it's Pluto that becomes the ruling planet, while those of the Moon become the guardians of time. not sure when this is, if it's in the past and this is her official dress...or if it's just a pretty picture of the princess! either way, it's quite lovely. and yes, in this life, she does end up with Endymion.^^

i had fun with this! i decided to stick to my usual style, but tried more natural anime shading...which i think i actually pulled off! you can TELL there's a light source!!!^^ me and elila decided to give Perse a belt kind of reminiscent of her canon self, with more royal flair! we're debating on if Sailor Moon(Chibiusa in our verse) will have hearts and crescents on her keybelt. all in all, i am quite pleased with the coloring of her dress and hair. the hair especially, i think i'll highlight hair like this from now on! and god, Setsuna just looks so good in odango!!<3
