Does anyone here collect Ambiios? For those out of the loop they are Nitnendo's answer to Skylanders. They're figures you can use in your games. Unlike Skylanders they aren't needed reach certain areas in games. They just add a little bonus content like creating a fighter in Smash or outfits for your mii in Mario Kart 8.

I'm not planning to get every Ambiio because that is like impossible task unless you want to cough up a lot money. It sickens me that people are buying these up just to resell them for a higher price.I'm sorry I am not spending 70 dollars for a hunk of plastic that was originally 13 dollars. My goal is to at least get all the Zelda Ambiios. Then buy random characters that I like.

I have Pikachu, Kirby, Zelda, Yoshi and Peach. Yesterday and today I bought Sheik and Sonic at work because my brother wanted them as well and with my employee discount card, I save a dollar or two on them.

Now to wait on pre-orders for Ness...

What's the deal with that guy and buying all the rosalinas? Nintendo is gonna pump out another batch of them, right?

Yeah I knew that, I was just wondering if nintendo is gonna make a second run of them.

I think Nintendo intends to produce more when games that use certain amiibos come out. Like, I know that the Fire Emblem line got another run when Codename: Steam came out, because they had a function in that game.

Oh good!! I really want Ike and Lucina.

luckily my local stores never had a chance to sell out of any of the amibo's i want.

For months I would go into my local gamestop, target and walmart and they pretty much had no one.

I just hope when my boi meta knight comes out, nobody pulls a rosalina.

I have all the Legend of Zelda Amiibo's that I want- I have Toon Link, Link, Sheik, and Princess Zelda. I don't want any of the others.

Yeah! I have been trying to collect them for the purpose of playing with them, but the entire amiibo system is such a disaster. I wish they would just do in-store preorders --or at least place a one per household/customer limit-- so that people have a better chance of getting the characters they want.

I have Zelda, Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Diddy Kong. Palutena is my main (and favorite!) in Smash so I reaaally hope she won't be impossible to get. I might try to get a couple extra wave 4 in case trading for her becomes the only option.

On May 29th, I'm going to go on an early morning treasure hunt to find all of wave 4. It will be fun. xP

Okay, So I just found out that nintendo is aware of the amiibo shortages, and they do plan to release more. No idea which characters, no idea when, but they are aware.

I think they have been saying that for awhile, but haven't really done anything about it. Hopefully they will re-release enough of said characters so that everybody who wants one can get one!

Did anybody have any luck with obtaining the wave 4 amiibos that they wanted? I got up at 5am and waited in line at Target and ToysRUs. It actually wasn't as boring as I thought it would be! Everybody was really nice. We played 3DS games and talked for several hours. The guy behind me was a moonie so we ended up talking about Sailor Moon. Haha
I managed to get all of wave 4 except Ness, Robin, and Lucina. I might try to import them or just wait for a re-release.

I GOT NESS! The store only had two and I got the second/last one! I got Silver Mario as well since they had 8 of them. There wasn’t much of a line either and I only had to wait 30 minutes.
