Appearance: Haruka is 5 foot 9 inches and has blonde hair in a boycut and has dark navy eyes that can sometimes seem black (in the anime.) She often dresses in casual clothes, clothing that males would tend to wear. In the manga, she is seen wearing both masculine and feminine clothing. In school and business environments, she is likely to wear a male uniform. Her fashion sense is often androgynous in nature; to the point where other characters confuse her for a boy. (in the anime.)

Personality: She is one of the more foul-tempered of the senshi, but is loyal, protective, strong-willed and particularly flirtatious when it comes to pretty women. She is extrodinarly daring, and acts without caring what others will think of her action. Haruka will be the first one to sacrifice anything for the sake of accomplishing her mission, she is incredibly stubborn and will come off as harsh, cold and distant to those she does not trust or whom she assumes will get in the way of accomplishing her goals. Often quick to take drastic action and judge harshly with more of a hit first, ask questions never kind of attitude, her dream is to become a famous race car driver; her likes are salads and gym and she dislikes men (aside from Mamoru) and natto, along with Modern Japanese. While she is good at flattery, she is quick to sulk and get jealous (especially when her lover, Michiru is involved.) Her Blood type is B and she is an Aquarius.

History: In the times of the Silver Millennium, she along with the other outer senshi lived in their respective marinear castles to protect the solar system form outside invaders. When the moon kingdom was falling due to various catastrophes (Queen Beryl raising metallia, the curse of Queen Nehellania ect), she used her talisman, the space sword, with the other outer senshi to summon Sailor Saturn to put an end to the kingdom’s suffering. She was reincarnated on earth along with the rest of the cast.
While it is unknown how she became a Senshi in the manga, In the anime she became a senshi after her racecar turned into a daimon. She witnessed her fellow classmate, Michiru Kaioh, transform into Sailor Neptune before her eyes and engage the beast in combat, injuring herself protecting Haruka from the beasts attack. The lip rod fell from some unknown point, and Michiru warned Haruka that taking that pen would change her life. Haruka refused to let Michiru continue fighting alone, and claimed the pen and her identity as sailor Uranus. Some time after this Haruka and Michiru became lovers; Michiru having been a fan of Haruka’s sportsmanship during their school days. It is unknown weather or not the two were lovers during the time of the Silver Millennium, but the two of them are inseparable and always seen together.

In the super arc, she and Michiru often oppose the inner senshi in terms of obtaining their goals in rather extreme ways; such as the willingness to let the victims die and the readiness to kill Hotaru once they find out she is mistress 9. In the StarS arc, they prove to be even more extreme when they willingly give their lives to Galaxia, kill Sailor Saturn and Pluto, then try to kill Galaxia with their new abilities after gaining her trust; leading to their deaths. In the manga version of the StarS arc, she is killed when she goes to her home planet by Galaxia, then is later resurrected brainwashed along with the rest of the senshi to attack sailor moon upon arriving at Galaxia base. While absent during the anime version of the SuperS arc, in the manga she along with Michiru and Setsuna move away to raise a baby Hotaru, and temporarily loses her ability to transform. Only after Hotaru re-awakens she is able to transform into Sailor Uranus and joins the inner senshi in the fray against the Dark Moon Circus.

In the manga; their need for extreme tactics are basically the same. Haruka is particularly protective and loyal to the prince and princess, being Mamoru and Usagi in this version more-so then the anime.

Storyline Specific Information: In Hypothesis, she is no longer a senshi; stripped of her powers. She is fairly weak and malnourished; living in poverty and hiding with the rest of the senshi in the 40^th century. (More as it develops.)

Senshi Fuku: There are three different outfits she wears throughout the series; her original, super then eternal which is manga only. Her dominant color is navy blue, which can be seen in her tiara gem, collar, choker, the cuffs of her gloves, back waist bow, and her skirt. Her fuku’s secondary color is yellow which can be seen on her front and back bows. She wears a single golden hoop earing on one ear and has collar no stripes. Her choker has no additional accents or accessories to it and the shoulder pads are basic. The gloves are wrist-length, unlike other senshi, and she has navy blue knee-high, high-heeled boots. 

Her second form maintains the original color schemes as her first form. The new changes are the shoulder pads are now longer and translucent, she gains the second gold hoop earing, the center broach turns into a heart and she gains a star gem on her choker. The back waist bow is enlarged.

Her third and final senshi form still maintains the color schemes of navy blue and yellow, with an additional color of light blue. Her choker becomes V shaped and the center broach becomes a star. She has large light blue puffed sleeves with two stripes of navy ribbons attached to the bottom. Her gloves are no longer wrist length, but now reach to her upper arms like the rest of the senshi’s gloves. She gains a belt made of two navy blue ribbons with a golden star adorning the center. Her back bow becomes light blue and her skirt now has two layers, the top layer staying it’s standard navy while the bottom layer is light blue. Her boots gain a V shaped border with a star at the top of each, and her tiara gem also gains a navy star; along with her earrings.

RP Sample: Haruka hit the ground running, wincing a bit as the jump sent a throb of pain through the soles of her feet. She cursed herself silently; this was not one of her best starts. Sweat was starting to smear her vision, and she quickly wiped it away with the back of her hand. Pumping her arms and legs, and hearing the sound of her gasps and heartbeat was what kept her in-motion. It was just a little farther; she could see the thin glimmer of a white and black checkered banner in the distance. With a holler, she pumped out her chest, the banner breaking across her mere seconds before other contestants reached the final checkpoint. With her hands on her knees, she grinned at her accomplishment. Despite the rough start, this race marked her fifth victory in a row. She laughed as Michiru approached her with her towel and a much needed water bottle.

Today couldn't have been more perfect.
