| So, does anyone else take MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)? My favorite website to use for this is Coursera (because it is free and well-structured) and I tend to stick to IT/programming related topics. IT/programming topics change frequently, so I find it is a great way to get an in-depth understanding of an emerging topic.
During the summer, I'll be taking a few that are more management focused. I looked at the course list for UT Austin's MBA program and found similar topics on Coursera. (:

| I'd love to do some web design stuff. Started on the beginner HTML/CSS on Codeacademy.com but its so basic right now I'm bored with it and time. D: Waaah.
V, we should take an online course together! XD |

| Yes, please! That would be fun (: I know absolutely nothing about HTML/CSS, but I think the bare basics might come in handy for work. Not really sure, but wouldn't hurt to dip my toe in the water of that topic.
So, I did some quick searching and found a free course or two, in addition to Codeacademy. I still need to finish my Python tutorial in Codeacademy, but I have only a few days left to finish another course on process mining.
So, Udemy has some free courses for HTML and CSS, but double-check the price before committing. Some of their courses cost money, but some are free.
Aquent Gymnasium has some free courses for HTML and CSS, Coding for Designers. They have a few other courses that I think are aimed at web developers and designers. I've never used them before, so I don't really know anything about them.
I usually use Coursera for everything, but I didn't find anything about HTML and CSS. I'm not familiar with the web design/development field, so you might cruise on Coursera and see if anything is relevant. |

| Yay! We can all learn CSS and HTML together. Check out those courses I mentioned or look for others on your own and tell me what you guys want to take together. I don't know CSS and HTML, so I can't judge whether or not the course would be good or match up with what you guys want to learn.
Right now I am taking R Programming on Coursera. This month I'll also be taking Usable Security and Algorithms, Part 1. |
