Hello loves!


I know this is right on the heels of a new layout, but I've managed to get an "ok" theme switcher set up. Currently there are 2 options, "Friendship Light" and "Friendship Dark" meaning this color and a darker theme with the same images.  It's very hard to balance all the group names and coloring so neither one will be perfect. However I hope this helps in allowing people have more options when browsing the forums.

i am pleased to have the options. could we possibly get a theme coloring that is maybe more wintery than grey..?^^0

I can't actually switch themes. When I click the drop down list it outlines in blue and does nothing.

Thanks for the option NQS. The bright layout sort of hurts my eyes

I think for now these will stay for a bit. Trying to find balances for these two colors was really difficult. I think finding a medium (if that is what you mean,) would be even more difficult. But I'll still consider it for future ideas!

Oh yah, it works now! I do like the darker layout.

I know some sites have lots of options, so all their old layouts are available as options. I'm not sure but is this something we'd be able to maybe do in the future?

I don't keep or publish my themes/layouts, so all the past ones are pretty much gone at this point I'm afraid. ^^

Oooh finally! Even if we can't bring back the old ones, if we could keep all future themes from now on, that would be superb. Everyone would have loads of choices. ^^

Sorry! These 2 themes share images, meaning the theme picker will always be the same header and image, just different colors.

That's really kind of you! Also, don't you put a lot of time and effort into making these layouts? It seems and awful shame to just not keep any record of the previous layouts whatsoever.

Didn't we have a thread with screenshots of prior layouts?

I kinda like Friendship Light more, the navigation on the left side of the forum is a bit weird when I switch to the dark one.

Thanks for including a light and dark version! They're both cool looking and I appreciate being able to choose!

no wait... it was my computer hating on me. cause i can load the option now. xD

I would always recommend clearing cookies (found on the bottom of the forums )
