| Okay, here I go xD. I'm taking Pre-AP English this year, and we just finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Now, we have been assigned to choose a prompt and write an essay over that prompt. Here is my prompt: The significance of a novel's title is often not apparent to the reader until well into the book. Write a well organized essay in which you analyze Lee's use of the mockingbird as a symbol. Be sure to include references to specific characters and their relationship to the mockingbird, as well as the meaning of the mockingbird as a symbol itself.Basically, I have to identify why "the mockingbird" is a symbol in the book. That part is easy for me, but the hard part is coming up with a good, creative title. That's where you guys come in. For those of you who have read the book, do you have any ideas? I really appreciate any and all input |

| A title, huh? Is this more of a research paper or simple response prompt? |

| An essay in which we are answering the prompt, so yeah, a response prompt. |

| So I haven't actually read the book, and this is a cheesy idea anyways, but how about "To Find the Mockingbird"
Good luck! |
