I don't really notice much of a difference. I think I'd prefer a 2D transformation to avoid the 3D modeling altogether.

Yeah, not a major difference. But, it gives it a slightly better look than the CGI that's currently present.

i think that the problem we seem to have with the 3d is the models aren't really that great. I personally don't see much of a difference between them but then i didn't see the sudden shock of going from 2d to 3d, so that might have been a big part. maybe we'll see more like this.

The 3D didn't bother me too much for Usagi's henshin so I'd have to see a 2D version of the others to have a better opinion.  I'd especially like to see a 2D version of Mercury's henshin.

WOW THAT IS A NICE FIND

While the computer did add some nice effects, the CG seemed fairly clunky and out of place. I definitely like this one better.

i love the 2D animation it just fits so much better, if only they would use it in crystal for real

I wished they didn't use Crystal's proportions. Usagi still looks like a noodle.

I understand they were trying to emulate Naoko's art style and all, but I still think the proportions in sailor moon crystal are odd. I think I always will.

I just don't think Naoko's style looks good in animation. Her artbook images are beautiful so I have nothing against her style.
