Halloween Job Costumes: I was an Evil Jester with other clowns, but then the Zombie Hunter quit...so I got that role, then I got my own scene on the Hay Ride as a Hag.

Ah you guys!!! I know I've been quiet lately, but I kept logging in throughout the month on the lookout for Halloween festivities... then this last week I was so busy with RL I never had the time! Boo, I missed out on all the fun.  


Anyways I did two costumes for Halloween this year...

Melanie Daniels from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" (for work)


Maleficent (for a party)


I really wanted to add more birds and scruff up the clothing, add blood and what not for my "the birds" costume, but because I waited till the last minute I decided I'd rather get a little bit of sleep that night!

...also please don't hate me for spamming y'all as this is kinda off topic... but...  I'm just REALLY super proud and excited about how my pumpkin turned out ok??  (Please feel free to slap me and point me in the right direction if we had a pumpkin sharing thread... I didn't see one)

At work I participated and placed in two different contests! I got first place in the pumpkin decorating contest and second place in the individual costume contest.  I was very surprised about how well received my costume was, I'm so used to people not recognizing or understanding my Halloween costumes.

...then I spent all of my winnings (cash prizes) at the post-Halloween sales!!! Score! I got tons of stuff half off.  

OMG POCKY your The Birds costume is spectacular!!! Very original and I love all the crows glued to your suit XD

OMG! That Birds costume is AWESOME. AND THAT PUMPKIN! WOW! (And yeah we did have a contest thread for the pumpkins, but you could've totally posted there for fun times!). I am jelly at your skills. >.>
