| Ello everyone, my name's Athena and I've been Sailor Moon fan since I was seven (which we will not discuss how far back that was because it's depressing) when I visited my aunt who lives in Japan and watched episode 93 aka "Usagi's Idol! The Graceful Genius Michiru" or in the US "Bad Harmony". I'm a librarian by profession and writer for the sheer enjoyment of it. I have several works in progress, original and fan fiction wise. Fan fictionally speaking, my forte is Sailor Moon fics although I dabble in other fandoms that I enjoy.I'm half Korean and thus have spent a lot of summers visiting family, so I also have a great love of Korean manhwa (so pretty and elegant) as well as their dramas (and J-Dramas to), especially the ones that are based in the Joseon period. Um... let's see what else? Oh yeah, I found GC through deviantArt, which I have a love hate relationship due to the fact that I get depressed that I just can't draw.

| Hello!! Welcome to the GC, Athena! Let me take the time to tell you how awesome you already are. K-K-KOREAN??? I am love with the Korean culture, dramas, everything! Which k-dramas are your favorite? Mine are You're Beautiful, To The Beautiful You, Dream High, Heartstrings, and of course- Goong! If you have any recommendations please feel free to share. As of like a long time ago, I've been trying to finish the manhwa of Goong. Anyways, I'm the host of our Asian Drama Club- you find the link here: http://www.thegalaxycauldronforums.com/t8210-asian-drama-club-1st-drama-discussion Anyways, I hope you like it here and hope to see you around! |

| I'm guessing that there aren't too many of Korean blood around here? LOL Well like I said, I have a thing for the K-Dramas sit in Joseon time period, because it's such an interesting time and I like the drama between the Queen and Royal Concubines (who in Korea were basically like junior wives as they had power and their children were considered legitimate). So Dong Yi and Yi San are major favs of mine. Don't ever mention one called Jang Ok-Jung, Live in Love because as Korean I find that a blasphemous show that has taught non-Koreans bad history and make them disrespectful of Korean history because they want to believe in the love story in that drama to be the truth of the matter. But I won't rant on it (which I do a lot). For modern K-dramas, I loved the Korean adaption of Hani Yori Dango which the title in the Korean version translates to Flowers Before Boys. Then there is My Name is Kim Sam Soon which is sometimes translated to My Lovely Sam Soon, which I don't know why as that's wrong. Coffee Prince was really good too. |

| Hello Hikari! Actually my favorite Senshi is Usagi, who I love for several reasons, one being I feel an affinity for the moon. As for my favorite arc, it would have to Dark Kingdom or Black Moon arcs, although this is based more upon the manga rendition (and possibly now the more I get to watch, Crystal). Favorite villain would have to be Black Lady.
And I adore Crystal. I love all versions of Sailor Moon, but so far Crystal is getting high marks in my book since it's more faithful then the 90s anime was to the manga. I have watched the live action and I loved Princess Sailor Moon (she kicked major henie!), although the youma made me laugh especially the first one which made me think of tentacle hentai (blame my friends for putting that icky image in my head). |

I'm sort of trying to get into the historical dramas so thanks for the recommends! Ooh yeah BOF was really good and so was Coffee Prince! |

| Me too. I think one of my favorite ones she did was that one-shot with Usagi and Mamo-chan having a war in the video store. |

| I'm a bit late to this thread!! Ahaha! I would generally cover most things but they seem to of been asked/ answered already. So, I'll spare you a repeat of all of that. I'd just like to say, I'm PallasMercury, most call me Pallas. I'm free to chat anytime. Just shoot me a PM.
And don't be discouraged about your art. None of us improve by giving up! I adore the Kupi from PGSM! You seem to be a really good writer, keep that up!
Hope to see you around the cauldron more! |

| Thanks for the welcomes!~ @Sunyeons - The top historical dramas I would suggest are Dong Yi, Yi San and Dae Jang Geum. Just be forewarned to have plenty of tissue around episode 81ish of Yi San. I've watched it like 3 times and I bawl like a big baby EVERY time. @Pallas - Thanks for the encouragement, I do keep trying with the art. Spend a few hours and then toss my sketchpad across the room in frustration. But I keep coming back to it. In any case, I've been stalking dA pages of favorite artists to see when their commissions are free so I can get an image of one of my fanfics drawn in all it's pretty glory. At least I don't fail at the writing although writer's block is a *CENSORED*. |

| Oh, haha! I think that I've stalked fav artists page's before to see about commissions. And yeah, totally me. I can either do really good on the first attempt or completely give up because I just can't get it right. You should start up an art blog or something to keep track of your artistic achievements.
I decided to start up a blog, it's linked to in my signature. Just click on 'My Art Blog', maybe it'll give you some inspiration? I'm not the best of artists and the blog is an arts & crafts blog. |
