Appearance:
Rei has long straight black hair that she keeps loose. Her eyes are purple. She is slender and 5' 3" tall. She is described as a very beautiful girl and when Ami and Usagi see her they notice her beauty. She is elegant and traditionally beautiful.


Her middle school uniform is quite stylish. It is a grey blouse with a black collar and red stripes on it. It has a red bow on the chest. It's got four buttons, two on each side, that are the same color as her blouse. She wears a black skirt. She also wears white socks with a red stripe and black shoes. 


Normally outside of school she's seen wearing red and white Shrine Maiden robes. 

When she goes to high school the only things about her uniform that changes is that the red bow is now black. 

Personality:
Rei is a quiet serious girl. She is smart and reserved and she doesn't usually get very involved with men. She is very loyal to her friends and family. When people first meet her they are sometimes afraid of her or intimidated because of the way she behaves. Some people take her quietness and seriousness as a sign that she is stuck up and conceited, which she is not. People are sometimes afraid of her because she has special psychic abilities and that scares them. After meeting Usagi and some of the other senshi she began to open up more and became stronger and happier through it. She doesn't like to rely on anyone else for help. She can be stubborn that way. She is strong willed and it can lead to arguments with people. She is a very passionate person and takes pride in all of her accomplishments. Spirituality plays a strong role in her life.


Dream: To become the head priest of the shrine, and maybe settle down and get married

Rei has a strong psychic ability. She can get rid of demons and even sometimes see of feel things that will happen in the future. She sometimes gets psychic dreams.

History:
In the silver millennium, Rei was Princess Mars. She was tasked with protecting Princess Serenity with the rest of the princesses from the inner planets. When she wasn't in her fuku she was in a red full length dress. After the Moon Kingdom fell she was reborn as Rei Hino.  


When she was a child, her mother, Risa, died. Her father, Takashi, is a politician and he cares more about his job than his family so he is never around. She works as a Shrine Maiden and lives at the Hikawa shrine with her grandfather. She became a senshi after Usagi started investigating some disappearances of people around the shrine. She first mistook Usagi for an evil presence and when she passed out quickly apologized for the mistake. Eventually Rei got caught in the middle of things and was taken captive by Jadeite. When she woke up Ami and Usagi were fighting him as senshi. Luna threw her a transformation pen after she saw the Mars symbol on Rei's head. She then became Sailor Mars.

Storyline Specific Information: 

Eternal Senshi: In this RP, Mars is still her Silver Millennium self, and has a different attitude than the canon. She is more calm than the canon Rei. She still has a temper, but her temper rarely comes out because it takes a lot to make her angry. She still has a very powerful psychic ability and she is more open about them, although she knows to hide them from normal humans. She is not bothered by others looking at her oddly or in a scared manner because she is proud of her abilities and, as a Shrine Maiden, she can seem more in touch with spiritual energy. She was devastated with the loss of Princess Serenity and when she woke up to find herself in a new era she was shocked. Eventually seeing the reincarnation of Princess Serenity was hard to bear. She wanted to run to her and resume their lives as friends, but that wasn't possible because she was a different person, a new girl and things had changed. 

Four Corners: In this RP, Sailor Mars/Rei Hino and the rest of the inner senshi are teaming up with Sailor Sedna to go on a search for mythical objects. Each of these objects will change the senshi's fukus and powers. These will help the senshi defeat a new enemy. Rei will find the Vermillion Bird. When found it'll change her powers and fuku. Her fuku will be red and pink. The top will be a red crop top with a red sailor collar with two white stripes on it. Her shoulder pieces are pointed and pink. The skirt is red and pink. It's got a triangular top piece with three layers. The top of the skirt is pink which leads into the top layer of the skirt. The first layer is red with pink lining at the bottom. The second layer is just red and the third layer is pink. Her choker is just red with no symbol in the middle. Her earrings have changed, they are gold and are feathers. Her gloves are red and go passed her elbows. They end with pink cuffs. Her shoes are red flats that have lacing similar to pointe shoes. 
 Her powers will change so that she can attack the new enemy.

Senshi Fuku: She wears a white leotard with a red pleated mini skirt. She has a red sailor collar with white stripes on it. She has a purple bow on her chest with a circular red brooch in the middle. She has a golden tiara with a purple gem in the center. She has red star earrings. She has red pumps with about a 2 inch heel. In the back of her leotard is a red bow. She has a red choker. And white gloves that go to her elbow and have red trimming on the elbow.

After becoming Super Sailor Mars, her choker gains a yellow star, her brooch becomes heart-shaped, the bottom of her shoulder pad becomes transparent, and her back bow becomes longer and bigger. 

When she becomes Eternal Sailor Mars she gets a V-shaped choker, her brooch becomes star-shaped, and so does the middle of her tiara. Her skirt becomes layered, the lower part is pink. Her shoulder pads become round pink puffs with red stripes below them. Her gloves are now longer, reaching past her elbows. She has two ribbons - red and pink - as belts around her waist which meet and are clasped with a yellow star. She gets white knee length boots with a yellow star on the red V-shaped stripe at the top. 

Powers: 
Akuryou Taisan: She can do this when she is both senshi and civilian. Using her magical wards and her psychic ability, she can dispel evil spirits by chanting the prayer and using this move.
Fire Soul: She puts her forefingers together so she can summon flames which then shoot towards the enemy.
Fire Soul Bird: Fire soul, but more powerful. She enchants an magical wards and engulfs the enemy in Fire Soul; the combination then becomes a phoenix that hits the enemy.
Burning Mandala: She can create a fire ring and throw balls of fire toward an emeny, each one showing one of the eight Buddhist symbols that represent the eight corners of the world: North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, and Northwest.
Mars Snake Fire: She can create a serpent out of flames to attack the enemy.
Mars Flame Sniper: She can summon a bow and arrow made of fire and shoot the arrow at the enemy.

Weapons or Magical Items: 
Transformation pen: She uses it to transforms into Sailor Mars. After she threw it away at the end of the first arc to give up all its power to reach Sailor Moon that had been swallowed up by Metalia, she was given a new transformation item. 
Star Power Stick: Her new transformation item given by Luna in the Black Moon arc. 
Crystal Change Rod: Her new transformation item in the SuperS arc of the anime given to her by Pegasus, helping her to transform into Super Sailor Mars. 
Mars Crystal: Her new transformation item in the manga to transform into Super Sailor Mars, which was given to her by Phobos and Deimos.
Mars Arrow: The item she needs to perform Mars Flame Sniper in the manga.
Magical wards: A paper containing the words 'Evil Spirits Disperse' which Rei can use these both in senshi and civilian form to disable an enemy by performing Akuryo Taisan.

Guardian: Phobos and Deimos. Her crows in the shrine. They are named after the two moons of Mars.

Memories of the past:

Mars woke up from a dream about the fall of the Silver Millennium. The memory of the death of her Princess, even though she was reincarnated, haunted her every day. So many things happened with the fall of their kingdom. She and the other Princesses had to kill the Shitennou and it had hurt them terribly. They mourned their deaths, but had to go on and defeat Queen Beryl. Queen Serenity had sealed Metallia and forced her, the other princesses, and the lunar cats in a slumber. Then she sent them to the future. Eventually seeing the reincarnation of Princess Serenity was hard to bear. She wanted to run to her and resume their lives as friends, but that wasn't possible because she was a different person, a new girl and things had changed.
