ok i read the points system thread, saw the goggle doc, looked through all 4 pages in this section, read all the points realted threads but none answered my question. i know the doc it so points can be kept track of, so is that why members can't see their points on there profiles? or is it just not meant to be? ok sorry for the long winded question but had to ask of it would continue to bug me

^^ We calculate Activity Points in a way that the forums can not support; the forums will only let you calculate a member's points via how many posts they make, different type of posts, etc, while our Activity Points come from (as you have obviously researched! ^-^) contests and activities and involvement and etc.

:/ that said, there's no easy way to get people's points to display on their profile without manually updating 300+ user profiles in the admin panel every month, so we keep track in that spreadsheet!

So, for those of us who haven't been keeping track from the beginning, we just play the guessing game until we reach lotus? Is there a way we can request one of the mods send us the number of points we currently have in a PM? (As lotus, obviously.)

Everyone's points are recorded in a Google doc that's accessible to everyone at all times. If you check this thread and click on the image, you can open it.

If your name's not there, that means you have yet to earn any points. (The first sheet should detail all the different ways you can earn them.)

Cosmos - I had a bit of trouble finding the points before I was lotus, but on the spreadsheet I think their are tabs where we are sorted by ranks.
