Just trying to check in with ya'll. I know some don't really need planning. Like mine or the face painting. But we're heading in to only 10 days left to get everything ready! We're gonna make this an epic Halloween event! Has anyone talked to Kyra to see if she wants to do the trick or treating thing again this year? If not, I can! Just wondering ^^;;;

so what sort of winner categories should we have for the winners of the cake contest? I'm thinking that the cake with the most user votes can be best in show or something, and there could be another category where the winning cake would be decided by judges. idk, what do you guys think?

That sounds good =o Since it's Halloween based, maybe you can have a prize for the one you and/or the judges feel is the most spooky or best represents Halloween? =o But the best in show sounds good for the most member votes! Depending on the entries you get, you could be silly and do like the best use of black/orange, the most candilicious xD I dunno =P Something silly haha xD

ok, so a best in show category, the winner for that will be determined by the poll open to everyone. and a most spooky category, the winner is determined by a group of judges. I think that should be good enough?? and then everyone with get a participation award anyway.

Thanks Ed made it for me. It's suppose to be for the event on MKF as part of my avvie siggie thingy but she said it was ok I could use it here <3 and Nephrite/Naru are one of my favourite pairings.

Since this is my first time planning an event can somebody run me through a few things? Should I be submitting my link to the puzzle to somebody or am I just going to be posting on my own when the event starts?

You just post your own game thread and post the link to the puzzle. We aren't super picky on all that. Just make the thread look neat and make sure it lays out all the rules clearly so everyone understands how to play. Since you are the host, you basically get to run it how you like (while being fair of course). If you need help setting it up or want a reference, I'm sure we could pull up an old puzzle game thread.

oh and to be clear by puzzle, you mean like the image type of puzzle where you put thepieces together? Sometimes i thinkits other types of puzzles. xD
