| Hi everyone! My name is Gina (aka worthyadvisor), and I've been a Sailor Moon fan for quite a long time. I remember watching Sailor Moon really early in the morning when it played in the US in the 90's. One of my fondest memories is shortly after I graduated college and was working a night shift. I'd get home in the morning just in time to watch two episodes of Sailor Moon before going to bed! (That was in 1998! Yeah, I suppose I might be in the "old" category...not that old, though...) Anywho, I joined the forums because I wanted to connect with other Sailor Moon fans, primarily to talk about Sailor Moon Crystal (SO. MUCH. SQUEEE!!), but also because, well, I'm the only Moonie among my friends. *sigh* In the rest of my life, I'm a pastor (PM/email if you want to know about this), podcaster (PM/email about this, too), blogger, former biochemist, yarn spinner, and computer geek. Also, I usually have manga hair. (As of this writing my hair is bright blue.) Thanks for having me, and hope to have some great chats with folks! Gina |

| I think for a lot of us, we are the only Moonie fan among our friends, so we turn to an online community to reach out to thers. Welcome to GC. I'm Addelyn but you can call me Addy. I grew up watching the 90s series and began rewatching it when I found this site. If you like Crystal, I would recommend reading the Manga. We also have a Newbie's Pack to check out. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me |

| Thanks, Addy! You're totally right! I actually have the Mixx comic book versions of the manga (yay Ebay!), but only the first story arc. *sigh* I'm hoping to get the full manga series at some point once I have some cash to spend on it! (As if I didn't have enough manga already, right?) |

| Welcome to GC Gina! I'm Megan, aka Sailor Selene. I hope you enjoy it here! We have a whole forum section dedicated to Sailor Moon Crystal we talk about it there and have things in spoiler so we can not spoil episodes for other members.
I also recommend reading the full manga. Um... let me see if I can find a link or something for you. http://sailormooncenter.net/3/torrents/ On here is a torrent of the whole manga and Sailor V. You can also read it here: http://www.mangahere.co/manga/sailor_moon/vC/c001/
I'm slowly collecting the manga as well, but I read it online. I figured as long as I buy them in the future I wouldn't feel bad about reading them for free. |

| Thanks Alyssa! My partner was teasing me a little about being on this forum, and I said: "Well, no one else I know likes Sailor Moon as much as I do!" She said, "Fair point." (Although, she's very good to me. She got me a Crunchyroll account so I can watch SMC! ) My favorite is Sailor Mars. As I mentioned, Sailor Mars and I share some religious commonalities, which I'm happy to talk about elsewhere. My other favorites are Sailors Pluto and Saturn, just because they are both beautiful, and the most mysterious, since they are the keepers of Time and Death. (Actually, most of the reason I love anime is because it usually doesn't shy away from the mystical.) Now, seasons...that's a tough one! I think R and Stars are tied for that one, as far as the anime goes. (I will say, that I'm already really loving Crystal...) Both of them have some really amazing things about them, especially the way they portray Small Lady, and her alter ego. And I have a thing for the Starlights. I also **love** PGSM!! Especially Venus' storyline in it. I completely lost it in the last few episodes, but I really loved how they handled what happened to her. Yeah, the costuming is cheesy and all, but the writing was really good, I thought. I've been on a lot of forums over the years, but I'll take you up on the Mentor thing if I get lost. (Ok, back to getting ready to go out to dinner! Yay!) |

My name is Erica, but you can call me Hikari. I am a member of the GC Welcome squad. I am so glad you found us. What a time to be a moonie. I am so glad to be in this fandom right now, so much great stuff going on. I am enjoying Crystal so far, HBU? oh do you have a favorite character in SM? My favorites are Usagi, Makoto, and Setsuna.
Have you ever watched the live action or the musicals? i really love both adaptations and recommend them if you ever have a chance to watch them.
Well thats all for now. I hope you find a lot to do on here and meet some cool people, and if you ever wanna chat my inbox is always open. |

Ooooh...Good question. You know, I'm not really sure. I do like them all because they are really complicated characters (as in, they aren't necessarily as evil as you think). Although, I do think the arc with Naru and Nephrite was epically beautiful and sad. (I was really mad about how they completely cut it out of the US airing of the show and was like OMG! when I watched the uncut versions!) So, yeah, I'm not entirely sure....(I also think it's because I need to refresh my memory...it's been awhile since I've watched the full show and read the manga...) |

Have you ever watched the live action or the musicals? i really love both adaptations and recommend them if you ever have a chance to watch them. I'm really loving Crystal so far! Sailor Mars has always been my favorite (as I mentioned earlier, since her and I have similar spiritual pursuits). I'm really digging Crystal's look and feel. While I still adore the first version, I think Crystal has a more mature feel to it (which makes sense since they did update and modernize the story). I'm also a fan of the CGI in it, since I think it gives a bit of a "otherworld" quality to things that work for me. I ADORE PGSM!! In that, both Rei and Minako are my favorites! I mentioned it in the PGSM forum that even though the effects are cheesy, the writing on that show was pretty well done. (And, believe me, when it got to a certain letter reading in PGSM, I bawled like a baby! ) Thanks for the welcome! |

| Welcome to the forums Gina! It is always fun to find people with common interests and the fact I had no friends liking or even wanting to know about Sailor Moon brought me here too a few years ago. People are very friendly around here and passionate about SM. I am sure you will love the atmosphere in the Galaxy Cauldron! |
