| That is the question!
In response to new report, Microsoft says "we believe in Kinect," adding $500 price point is a "great value." Microsoft is not currently considering releasing an Xbox One without Kinect, a representative for the company told GameSpot today.
"We have no plans to introduce an Xbox One without Kinect. We believe in Kinect and the value it brings to both games and entertainment, and believe $499 is a great value for what consumers receive with their Xbox One," the representative said.

Yeah, it's really not... I'd call it a cheap Wii knockoff but PS2 beat them to it with the EyeToy. I swear it's like they want Sony to win. |

| Honestly, we have a kinnect, but we just don't have the best space for it, it seems kinda picky in where you stand. I LOVED Dance Central actually, but we don't ever use it, so it's a waste of money to force us to by it. Me and my husband will be getting a PS4 because of it. |

| Before the system was announced, I was considering getting an "Xbox 720", just to get something different. I always had Nintendo and Sony, so I thought "maybe I'll get the next Xbox to change things up". Nope. They're forcing the thing on everyone, and no body wants it. I know people that have the Kinect, and they barely use it. The Kinect is no longer needed to be attached to the XB1 for the system to operate, but they're still not going to make a bundle without the Kinect. You can throw that spy camera into your closet or tape it to your chest for all they care, but they're still going to make you pay that $500 for a system with a piece of equipment you'll never use.
I'm getting a Wii U and then a PS4 later on. |

| I believe you have to use the kinect with the Xbox one? Or I could be wrong.
I don't own an Xbox 360, but the dorm I lived at had it and it had the kinect. I was a RA so we used it for programs. I will say this it's fun for dance games and that's about it. I've seen some kinect game reviews and they look bad. But seriously it's a cool idea to play a game and be the controller. They just need to fix it especially since it's soo expansive to buy one if you didnt get bundle with the 360. It's a great idea and that's about it. XD |

XD Just read this morning that you no longer need the kinect. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2423002,00.asp Dragon Ball Z for Kinect was the nail in the coffin for me. Of course... I do want to play that Disneyland game and Gunstringer, but that's about it. |

| I try to keep up with everything as much as I can. I'm more Nintendo oriented as well, but then I also have Sony products, so I check in on their news and sometimes I look at Xbox, but not too often.
I think the biggest turn off for this system (for me, personally) is the DRM. Sure, you download a patch and it takes it away, but if a patch can remove DRM, what's stopping them from easing the consumers into DRM after they have everyone's money? |
