| Hello, my name is Jo  I'm also known as lonelymiracle in Tumblr and deviantART~ I've been a huge moonie since I was 5 years old. It was my first anime, and Sailor Moon was my childhood hero ♡ I wasn't good at school, was clumsy (still is xD) and was teased a lot so I could relate to Usagi on a personal level. I really admired her strength and how she was the Senshi of Love and Justice despite her shortcomings. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up~I was raised by my uncle, who didn't have children of his own, so he showered me with Sailor Moon toys. Years later, I thought I grew out of it and sold a few items which I highly regret. I had a Stallion Reve and I sold it for practically nothing!! OTLWhen I visited the Philippines in 2012, I was reunited with my carefully preserved childhood toys and it rekindled my love for the series ♡ I only saw up to the Super S season so I watched all 5 seasons and the movies, and resumed collecting the merchandise from that day on. I was also able to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming Sailor Moon by cosplaying her ♡ I used my 19 year old Moon Stick with the cosplay - the same one that I used to imitate Sailor Moon with when I was 6 years old! That is very special to me.I tend to ramble on, so I guess I'll leave it at that before it gets too long xD I have a few pictures of my collection and cosplay in my Sailor Moon tumblr that I started up a couple months ago. I was cluttering my main blog with too much Sailor Moon posts so I thought it was time to make a separate one.I look forward to meeting everyone and posting here! Have a lovely day~  |

Thank you, Batgirl! I have seen all five seasons and the movies, as well as the live action PGSM :)My favorite season is the first one. It has a very classic and artistic feel to it, and it's the Sailor Moon I remember from my childhood. That's the version I cosplayed, and I'm partial to the first season items (transformation brooch, moon stick, transformation pen, etc.).- Spoiler:
I love the first three seasons, but not too fond of the last two. I didn't like how the 4th focused too much on Chibiusa, and how they killed off Mamoru in the first episode of the 5th, as well as killed off the inner senshi at the beginning of the last battle ]

My name is Erica, and most people on here call me Hikari. I am a member of the GC Welcome Squad. My apologies for showing up so late, life has just kept me very busy. When you have a chance check out the General Sailor Moon Discussion thread, where you can find all things sailor moon. I am a big fan of the arcades, with all the games. Yay another California girl. So glad you discovered the forum. I have also been a moonie since I was 5/6. I literally said at kindergarten graduation I wanted to be Sailor Moon when I grow up. I also have cosplayed as sailor moon, I actually made my wand since I couldnt find my collectible at the time. I am also a huge fan of Sailor Jupiter.
Have you seen the live action or the musicals? If not I highly recommend them. Also what are your thoughts on all the new stuff we are getting with SM Crystal and the new dub Viz is working on. I know I am so excited to have a new dub and have it be on DVD (with the subs too i hope).

HikariDemand: Thanks, Erica! No worries, I have been busy myself :)I found a link to the forum on Tumblr, I follow several Sailor Moon blogs there~ I said the same thing when I was a kid, that I wanted to be Sailor Moon xD That's why I consider my cosplay a dream come true!
I have seen the live action and the musical 'La Reconquista' I enjoyed both very much! I initially didn't like the live-action but it definitely grew on me. It ended up being one of my favorite versions of the story! I'm so excited at all the new stuff that's coming out! I just think it might have been better if they waited another time to re-release the old series and not do it around the same time as Sailor Moon Crystal, but they probably know what they're doing. *shrugs* I'm not complaining though, this is certainly the year of Sailor Moon and it's a great time to be alive!
Artemis: Hi, Michelle! Thanks for the welcome~ When I was a kid, Sailor Jupiter was my second favorite but Mars grew on me when I re-watched the series as an adult

I've seen La Reconquista, and I bawled at the end when they started singing Moonlight Densetsu. I'll make sure to check out the other ones!
