Do you think that the show will continue all the way from Dark Kingdom through Stars, or do you think it might just stop early before finishing the entire manga series?

I want to say yes because we're getting a new myu. Plus, why do only one arc of the whole series? If it's going to be closer to the manga, we could have all of arc one in like what...a couple episodes? I would like to think they won't shaft us that badly after making us wait all that time... >.> that would be crap to only do one small piece of the manga. 

And I keep thinking about the outers and picturing what they would look like in this new art. I want to see themmmm....

Of course it'll also depend on how much they've got done *now* and how well we the audience takes the show.

The new anime is going to be released at a pace of two episodes per month, so if they are going to do all five arcs (which I hope they will! I'm sooo tempted to do fanart in the new anime's style for characters in the later arcs) then depending on how they condense/draw out the material in different chapters it could take a while (i.e. years) to get through everything. That might be a good idea from a marketing point of view, since it'll help increase the visibility of new tie-in products during the length of the new anime's run. And seeing how Toei has already been pushing new products months before the new anime airs I think they're planning for a long haul marketing strategy already.

They better go through the entire damn series. I'm not fond of the art work, but I want to see the plot line.

If they do decided to do the whole series. I'm wondering if each arc will be 13 episodes long seeing how we only get 2 episodes per month.

I seriously hope they get through all of the arcs. I don't care how long it takes them; I just want to see my favorite characters in this art style.

Yeah I really want to see Galaxia and have her story remain the same.

This is going to be like Game of Thrones. The waiting is the hardest part.

Each Arc being 13 episodes long is good enough for me. That would be 65 episodes and that's perfect.

I wouldn't dare to answer yes or no.
Of course, I want this anime to go through all five arcs just as much as the next fan, and even one additional arc in which they actually defeat Chaos, or rather Sailor Chaos since it was pretty much stated that she was going to happen one day in the future.
But it all depends on how well the first season does. I'm hoping that it will do great so that they can keep going, and I think that having a second musical coming up might be a sign that it is going to do great.

I think that if the ratings and merchandising hold up, we'll get the whole thing. It's dependent on the profit to be made.

Since they are doing the Black Moon arc with the new musicals, I would expect to see the first two arcs covered. Considering Naoko originally wanted to end the series at the end of the Black Moon Clan arc, then that would make sense if that's all they do.

If they continue on past that, YAY! If not, I'll still be glad with this new content. ^^

Since they are doing it bi weekly maybe they will do the whole series? I have a feeling since it'll be biweekly maybe they'll take the same approach as Hellsing Ultimate and make the episodes 45 minutes long? Who knows haha

That's a good point. I was talking to a friend on the phone yesterday and she pointed out that just because it's a bi-monthly show doesn't mean we're getting 21 minutes of content. If Toei does decide to go with the 45 minutes an episode format, I for one welcome it!

Ending it during the Black Moon Arc seems kind of awkward. Completely leaves out Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn from existing yet somehow would awkwardly have Pluto introduced. Hopefully they do the whole series in the anime just like how Naoko was slaved into making three more Arcs. >.>

In the booklet, it says SMC will be 26 episodes and 30 minutes each.

Yeah I saw that on tumblr too. It seems the story will be straight to the point with only a little filler.

I don't understand, where did this booklet come from? Why is it in englsih and not japanese? The tumblr doesn't say anything, just shows pictures that don't zoom in much.

Thanks for bringing this up Jaawsshhh. Now that I've thought about it, it's not that surprising that this will only cover the first arc at the moment since the episodes would take around 12-13 months to complete (two episodes per month times 12/13).

I'm with Brit. That's odd. o_o and I don't know if that leaves wiggle room for all arcs.

As awesome as it would be to have some more news, that booklet seems a little suspicious to me too =P

EDIT: Just noticed it said Original Story, my bad, but I do think the pamphlet is real.

*Shrugs* When I saw it only one person so far had accused it of being fake. Whether it's fake or not I wouldn't be surprised if Crystal is less than 30 episodes. I'm not crossing my fingers for all the arcs and don't plan too either.

I saw a comment somewhere that the company that made that brochure is MiP which is some company that does something for France? I dunno.

I'd rather wait and see what the official site says. Though it looks pretty legit.

I'm basically hoping for the best, expecting the worse when it comes to Crystal. xD If we only get 26 eps and one season, fine by me. If we get more, yay!
