| I remember first hearing about this game because the main character looked like Sarah Palin, but only played it quite recently. As in this past week recently. It was one of many requests I've received from friends to review so I got it for the Xbox 360 off of Amazon and went nuts. I know there's a sequel exclusive to the Wii-U coming out this Summer, but I don't have a Wii-U so that's not in my immediate future, if at all. Has anyone else here played the game? What did you think?

| I'm guessing no one else has really bad the game since there are no responses but it is underrated so I guess it's understandable. Anyway, I loved Bayonetta! The combat can be challenging (always hated getting the stone statues at the end of the chapter!!! ) But I got better with time and I love replaying it. I'm really disappointing that the sequel is going to be on the Wii-U since I don't have one and don't really plan to get one. But Nintendo was the only company to fund the game so it's understandable why it's an exclusive. |

| I don't have the money to buy a Wii-U and even if I did I'm not sure I would buy a Wii-U just for Bayonetta. I would rather get a ps4 first (since my brother is already planning on getting an Xbox One). |

| I'VE GOT A FEVER AND THE ONLY CURE IS MORE DEAD ANGELS
Ahem, sorry. Gosh do I love Bayonetta, that game is fun as hell. It's a lot like Devil May Cry, except you play a witch who fights off angels. And she can summon giant creatures from her hair to destroy her enemies. And she can turn into a panther. The plot gets somewhat lost and incomprehensible underneath all that gameplay, but I still think it's great. I want her glasses.
Oh, very recently there was an anime movie released called "Bayonetta: Bloody Fate". It's nothing new though, just the plot of the game re-imagined into film form. You can find it somewhere online with subs.
I'm still pretty bummed I'll likely never get to play the sequel since I don't plan on getting a Wii-U, but I'll see how that goes. Maybe they can port it to 3DS later (a girl can dream). |

| I own this game for the Wii U! It was super nice of them to package the first game with Bayonetta two. It was even nice that it was sixty dollars! I haven't gotten very far because I need to dedicate a good chuck of time to play it. But I love it so far!! It plays very nicely on the Wii U and looks gorgeous. I heard great things about Bayonetta 2. I need to push myself to beat the first one! My goal is to beat both games by the end of the year. |

Thank you for that mental image. :bunnypokerface Anyways, I've only played the first one, and I love it. I love how the fanservice is so over-the-top that it becomes a self parody, but it's balanced out by having some good serious moments. My only problem is that I keep forgetting all the different combos, and the few I do remember I just spam over and over. And when I inevitably forget those, I just button mash until I accidentally relearn them. Bayonetta 2 (among a few others) makes me tempted to get a Wii U. I'm just worried about the controller breaking easily. |
