As some of us know, one of our long time, hard working loveably and lovely members has been given 1 month to live. Starchild's life is obviously going through upheavel right now and I want to show her that we are not just random people on the internet, but individuals who's lives she has touched.

Because this is a very serious and sudden thing, I will ask the people take time to think of her and if they wish, to send her something.

If you wish to send her something by mail, I will be sending a mass package of what ever letters, card and trickets I get.

oh starchild, i hope you're okay! and i hope that the doctors are wrong...you have so much to live for yet.*hugs* you'll be in my thoughts, and my boyfriends. i wish i could do more than type words in a weak attempt for comfort.

if you are sending it from the States it should make it there in time.

i just put the card out in the mailbox, 

on a side note, there has been lots of stories of people who were given a short time to live and they ended up living for years and years.  Starchild is strong, i know she can fight this.

Sent...already I wrote an e-mail on the forums' e-mail addy. Just want to tell starchild to get well soon and we care about her. It's more convenient to use e-mail, despite I live in the other side of NQS' state.

Star was talking to me about coming on for a bit, but I don't want her to see this thread. Is there anyway to hide it so she can't see it, or does this forum not allow that?
The texts she got made her cry and smile. She loves every one of you. She doesn't know about the letters or anything. I was just wondering so it would be a surprise. And also, if your sending her emails. I don't know which one she signed up with, so it might be different than the one she's using now.

I don't think there is a way to hide a particular thread from only one member. We have a couple of options available, but I believe each option would 'hide' the thread from everyone or significant portions of the site members.

Thanks Venus. I'm sure she wouldn't look. I thought that was the case, on forums I've been an admin on, you couldn't either. Just wanted to double check.
