So this organisation are trying to get the backing track of the Sailor Moon DIC version released, but until then they're piecing together some of the tracks that they can - I used to love the dub, so this was a fun (and quite emotional!) listen!

This is incredibly awesome and it gives me shivers to hear these again <3 I haven't watched the dub in YEARS <3 But it had some of the prettiest music thingys.

Beautiful music was composed for the dub. The Power of Love was one of the best songs. The backing tracks were the best. DiC were really neat at creating the songs and then Cloverway Inc. came along and only used original Japanese Music destroying the feel of the dub.

No problem! I loved the dub songs too, but I forgot how good the backing music was as well! I hope they do the senshi transformation themes. ^^

Oh! The Mercury Star Power backing music was truly magical. I fell in love with it instantly! I also enjoy the 'sailor soldiers' but I think that was Japanese music. But I adored the star power tracks, Mercury's being the best.

This was a good find. I forgot how much I liked the English dub music! It would be nice if Dic released the original BGMs as a CD.

Relistening to these clips made me realize how obvious the theme song motif is in all of these pieces. I always remember thinking the background music was really heavy on that motif, but it was what I really noticed listening to these again.

While I might have many criticisms towards the dub, the background music was certainly one of the best aspects that DiC changed.

oh I know of these people! I have them liked on facebook and signed the petition. I always loved the Dic music for Classic and R. I also loved that Cloverway kept the original music so I was able to experience that as well. I even liked the dub version of Ai no Senshi and Watashi Tachi ni Naritakute.

I signed it too. I'd LOVE all the DIC music, I obviously like the original music but I think the dub music is pretty awesome - it makes me SO nostalgic hearing it.  

I know! Especially the sad Tuxedo Mask theme and songs like "Carry On" and "My Only Love"
