But, to stay on topic..... I really want to hear some more ideas from a few more members before planning anything. I really do try to use everyone's ideas in my events.

What do you all think about another Gloria event? "The return of Gloria?" Perhaps she needs help staying a living being because her magic that ran off of Hotaru during her in-between phase is starting to ware away?

Ooh, just saw this! That sounds great! So will Hotaru be a required character? Would it be another horror-esque event, or more of an adventure-type one?  Maybe there's some kind of place that the characters can go to to get a magic item or something (maybe a necklace) that will allow Gloria to stay living.

I just saw Jurassic World and I thought, what if we had an event where the Senshi went to Jurassic world and some youma wants to control the dinosaurs or something? Idk that's just a thought

...or a Tomorrowland theme, another sci-fi movie worth seeing (I hadn't yet saw Jurassic World). There should be a poll to decide and a day to have the decided RP theme. Doctor Who is another...however, the 2010s version had an episode of the Moon is actually some alien egg full of 1000s of baby aliens (uh, I hope I didn't spoil it to fellow Whovians on here, LOL). I like this idea of a coronation event: the Moon kingdom restoration RP theme.

Oh, Happy B-day, Vesta! At least someone greeted you and enjoy your Summer solstice (northern hemisphere) weekend. I'm looking forward to Father's day with my kids and wife...and to spend time with my Dad as well.

i don't know about you all but watching PGSM again has got me wanting to find a RP where i can plug in Dark Mercury somewhere? Can anyone help with that or know of a good storyline?

It looks like you're looking for the rp brainstorming thread! This thread is for suggesting ideas for events for the staff to use for future events  Why don't you repost this idea over there, someone may be interested in making an Rp with Dark Mercury!

This might be just for laughs, but what about a body-swapping event? Each senshi ends up in the body of another one, and has their powers, wakes up in their home, has to go to their school/events ect. (I don't think it'd be PG13 if we included mamo in this, though; but dang would it be funny.)

I was randomly brainstorming the other day and thought of having something like a zombie/monster theme in October. Maybe the senshi go monster hunting xD

I also have a random October event suggestion: a visit to a haunted house that turns out to be a cover for a Chaotic entity that the sailor soldiers need to defeat. (There's a part of me that really wants the haunted house to be one of Jadeite's attempts at energy collection, but timeline-wise that could limit the characters. But a haunted house that is sucking energy seems right up his alley. *insert Jadeite's weird jazzy background music here*)

For a non-October event, a character or characters have misplaced their transformation items. A search party is needed to retrace their steps and help find the items before an enemy can attack! Maybe Usagi's brooch could be stolen, or all of the sailor soldiers could find they're missing their transformation rods, etc.

You know what would be fun? A game show event! Like Survivor, or Big Brother  That would be awesome xD

We had an event like this a long while ago.  The senshi got switched and had to learn how to use the others power. Perhaps we can have a revised and more up to date event like this.

As for everything else, I am reading and noting ideas.

What if there's an event where we all played one of the victims of the week (and no recurring characters, so like no Naru or Reika or Mamo or anyone)? And they all met or something...for reasons? And we just spend the event trying to develop their character?

I realize that this idea might be too ambitious, but I wanted to suggest it.

I've been looking at various art-related groups that involve creating a new Sailor Moon-universe sailor soldier meeting certain criteria so that these characters all form a team. You are required to submit specific pieces of artwork and information to join (usually pictures of your character's civilian and sailor soldier form with a brief bio). Additional prompts for art are provided. (Example: how did your character react when she first transformed, what does her first attack look like, draw your character involved in a snowball fight, etc.) Completing a prompt earns points. Points are used to upgrade your character (additional attacks, change hairstyle, level up--such as standard to Super, Super to Eternal, or modifications to the uniform).

To a degree, this already happens with the hardcore events run by Sailor Uranus. Characters in those events have stats and gain experience points and levels when participating. That is not precisely what I have in mind, but it is very similar.

What I am envisioning would be a series of events something like this:
• A great evil threatens (something), and new sailor soldiers of (theme) have awakened to fight the cause!
• Based on the theme, a list of adoptable characters are provided. (Such as what was done for the Calcite and Twelve Stars events.) Or a list of soldier names and powers are provided, and participants create a relaxed character for the event.
• Post-event, characters need profiles to continue being used. Completing a relaxed profile would earn a (theme) point. Completing an advanced profile would earn 2 (theme) points.
• Prompts and challenges are provided. Completing these within the allotted time period would earn (theme) points or special items. (For example, "writing an advanced profile" and "completing a 1-on-1 RP with another (theme) character" would earn them both a unique item (perhaps a charm that can be placed somewhere on the uniform) to add to their profiles.)
• (Theme) points can be redeemed for upgrades or modifications to the characters.

I would not be at all surprised if this is a) too big in scope and b) requires too much work to implement. This idea is based on my desire to have this same system applied not only to artists creating pictures, but also roleplaying. To an extent, a lot of these things already exist on the forum in a variety of ways, the difference is that this would be for a set of related characters. I love themed teams of sailor soldiers.

I thought it might be a nice way to get some of those Graveyarded threads a chance at a resurrection. Without the delays of revival/posting/etc.
