| Hi everyone! I found The Galaxy Cauldron through tumblr! I'm Smoonlightdestiny there! My name is Danielle and I'm 18 years old. I started watching Sailor Moon when it showed on Cartoon Network in the late 90's/early 2000's. I guess you can say that's when my love for Sailor Moon started! I loved it so much that my dad bought me VHS tapes(lol) of the episodes and the Cutie Moon Rod, which I STILL have. Being the little dork I was back then, I would pretend to be Sailor Moon and use my Cutie Moon Rod to fight off the "bad guys." Embarrassing, I know.. I started watching the Japanese/subbed version or whatever you want to call it, about 4 years ago and reading the manga around that same time. And let me tell you, the manga made me fall in love with the series even more! It's absolutely beautiful! I know it's bad to say, but I think I prefer the manga over the anime…but nonetheless I still love it cause that's what I grew up with. My favorite character is Usagi! I love all her forms. And UsaMamo are my OTP!Anyway, I hope to get to know/talk to you guys soon!  |

| Welcome to GC Danielle. I also preferred the manga over the anime when I got the re-releases. I'm pretty sure my little sister also wanted to be Sailor Moon when she was little. |

| Hiiiiiii! Thanks everyone! @Silence Wall- I adore the manga! I'm so excited for the new manga cover art that's coming out! @Haine- Thank you! I hope so! @Tuxedo Mistress- I actually have never watched the live action series, but i'll definitely look into it. As for the new musical, it looks great! I'll being looking more into that as well!  For the anime, I can't even...I'M SUPER EXCITED FOR IT. I nearly cried when I found out about the news last year. Although I was a bit disappointed about the delay... I really hope they follow the manga closely this time though! |

| I don't think you'll get many complaints from people for preferring the manga over the anime. Welcome to the Galaxy Cauldron, I hope your stay proves to be a long and enjoyable one. I used to pretend to be Princess Serenity and that a bright and shiny purpleish/silver Easter egg I had was the Silver Crystal, that Usagi lived with me as a roommate and that Haruka and Michiru were next door neighbors. I'm not kray-kray. I'm the only sane one here  |

| Welcome!! Don't worry about pretending to be Sailor Moon, pretty sure most of us did something like that at some point. =p I WAS Sailor Mars, obv.
You should def give the live action and musicals a go - they do live streaming a here every so often so that might be a way to try it out?
