Now for the challenge I make to YOU!

In this thread of the practice forum, you can only reply with posts that are 100 to 105 words long. It can be posts about nothing, or post similar to those above; they can be posts about the writing process, posts about your character, descriptions, etc., but they have to be between 100 and 105 words long! Try using a word processor like Microsoft Word; to get good formatting, copy your 100 word paragraph and paste it into notepad to clear word formatting, then copy that and throw it into the reply box.

If you wish to issue a challenge to an admin or a moderator, try to phrase it in such a way as it gets close to that limit or tack it on to the end of a 100 limiter, include who you are challenging, and the post you want them to expand into 100 to 105 words. For example (and feel free to remake the following to fit your own challenge, if you are having problems):

The set meant a lot to Rei since it was one of the few items she had that belonged to her mother. Although she was against using the set during rituals, her grandfather thought otherwise. Since their was special meaning in the items, it was logical to use them for something rather than hide them away in a closet.

She knew that it was apart of his duty though as protector of the golden crystal and people's dreams but it still didn't chase away the loneliness and heartache she had felt from his long abscence. She knew her mother and father had her best interests at heart when they began setting her up with various suitors. She tried to sound interested in their attempt at conversation and fancy gifts but those things were trifling compared to just getting a glimpse of the Elysion priest her heart truly longed for. Chibiusa dusted the intricate bell with her finger and closed her eyes as she began to imagine his perfect face ingrafted within her subconscious and that's when she felt the familiar warm hand resting upon hers. She slowly opened her eyes wondering if it truly could be as those same alluring eyes with all their warm feelings met her own.

OK! So I'll start you off with one.

I challenge you Lucinda to let your imagination fly free on wings of inspiration! It is my hope that you can take this small beginning and make it come alive in the way of any good short story worth reading. I have no idea where this little phrase may lead you so I offer it up to the muse of creativity to see what you can do with it. Can you turn this into 100 words?

Before letting out a scream Rei heard a thumping noise. She ignored it a first, but it kept getting louder. Suddenly Chad and her grandfather pop out from behind the fire. Rei let out a scream when she saw Chad holding up a boom box. She soon recognized the thumping noise was from a song she detest, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. All last week during study sessions with the girls, Minako kept playing that song overand over. Rei stood up and grabbed the boombox from Chad and turned it off at once. She then left the room taking the boombox with her.

She could not believe this! She had just given her first kiss to the boy she loved more than anything, to the boy who she wasn’t meant to be with but whom her mother had given her blessings to and her father had been watching all the time! What was he doing here? She could have expected some of her father’s servants to be spying around her all the time but this was way too much. When Chibiusa saw how he looked at her beloved she began to burn inside. How dared he to speak to her love like that!?

Usagi stumbled out of the house "I'm late!" "Why do the mornings come!?" she wondered in her mind when running to school carrying her lunch bag in her hand - while her other hand covered her mouth when she yawned. She was close to trip down when not paying attention to the street still being half asleep.

If she could decide she’d probably just sleep and eat all the time. Despite being the Princess of the Moon Usagi lived normal life and had to pass school, even though she’d just like to skip it. “I hate this” she wined quickening her pace.
