Minako watched everyone for a few minutes, trying to curb her impatience. Usagi would never forgive them if they went on without her. Why Usagi wanted to go was still kind of a mystery since Usagi and ghosts didn't seem to mix, but Minako wasn't going to be the one to make the call that left Usagi behind, even if Usagi was late.

She waved cheerfully at Umino and Naru as they joined the group. Seiya and Haruka's antics had her muttering under her breath about missing the perfect betting opportunity. And everyone wondered why she was making bets in the first place. Putting Seiya and Haruka together for any amount of time was like putting a cat in a dog pound. Only who was the cat and who was the dog in this little rivalry?

Bored, she thought about the rumors she had heard about the ghosts. Wondering what the others had heard, she asked, "Did anyone else hear that the ghosts were the restless spirits of students who failed their exams? They haunt the halls wanting vengeance for being tested too hard."

Makoto was tempted to snap at Zoisite for making fun of her question. But Zoisite had just offered to teleport into the school building. She ate the rest of the cookie wordlessly.

She listened to Minako's story carefully, and looked at Ami out of the corner of her eye. "Where'd you hear that, Minako?" Makoto asked.

"I don't think that's it" Zoisite said. who now was texting Kunzite.

Minako shrugged a little and held her hands out to her sides, palms up. "One of the upper classmen told me."

She lowered her voice as her eyes darted left to right and back again. "They say that the ghosts are waiting for the perfect student to appear, so that they can take over that student's body and retake the exams. Only then, once they pass with the highest score, will their restless spirits be able to leave this world."

Then she laughed and rubbed the back of her head. "Or at least, that's what I heard."

Glancing at Zoisite, she asked, "What have you heard?"

"that long ago, a small gruop of school girls went to the school at night time looking for ghost. but they never came back out"  he said in a quite creepy voice..

"Minako, I would prefer to not be sacrificed to these supposed ghosts" Ami said.

"BOOO"!  he shouts in a loud voice.

Haruka pouted at Michiru rubbing her side where she had been elbowed. "I thought I was performing with you this time anyway." she said looking at Michiru. She sighed when everyone started talking about calling Usagi to see where she was so Haruka took it upon herself to do so. Pulling her communicator out of her pocket she flipped the cover open calling Usagi's "Koneko-Chan if your not here in 15 minutes we are going in without you." she blond said into he device and than pocketed it again. "There Usagi has been called." she said with a nod. She chuckled at zoicites Idea. "Zoicite civilians that know nothing about out powers." she said low enough that she was hoping zoisite would hear her but Umino and Naru couldn't. "so what do we do while we wait?" Haruka asked. she had a feeling if Usagi wasn't hear soon she was likely going to jump in her car and go looking for the blond moon princess than again it was a usual thing for Usagi to be late. The only Reason Haruka had agreed to come with the girls was to keep them out of trouble well there was also the fact that Hotaru begged her to come. Haruka chuckled at the rumors. "Minako if that's true than we might want to watch our dear little Genius over here." the blond said with a wink in Ami's direction.

Diana felt a little embarrassed that she had not noticed the presence of the red-haired girl and the boy with really big glasses. They were not one of the senshi and not of royal blood! How had she not noticed them! She could have blown her own cover in just a few words.

Luckily, Ami had picked her up and put her inside of a basket, and it saved her from too much of the embarrassment. She would have to be more careful and vigilant! Making mistakes like that was not to be tolerated.

This was certainly a comfortable basket, however. Diana yawned and settled down into a small crevice. She listened to everyone as they spoke to one another, and when she was asked if she knew where Hotaru-chan and Chibiusa-chan were, Diana shook her head, but kept herself from making any comments. For now, it would be best to remain quiet.

Though, when there was talk of poor Ami-sama being a target of the ghosts, she couldn't help herself from coming to her defense. Diana stood up and rubbed against Ami-sama's side. In as small a voice as she could muster, she said, "Don't worry, Ami-sama. I will protect you from all ghosts!"

Being a bit surprised by the sudden noise that seemed to come from the school yard, the ghost was intrigued to peek out of the window to see what the fuss was about. Usually only some of the school's teachers or club presidents stayed at the school to this late hour and they never moved in a group so big that their discussion would be wafted to the school building.

What she saw when looking out of the window was a rather big group of people, approximately the same age as most of the school's students, and the ghost noticed some familiar faces in the group as she had seen few of the girls at the school during the classes. She wondered what a group of students was doing at the school when it was already dark and she found herself considering whether she should move closer to the group to hear what they were talking about or stay farther, watching what they would do next.

Maybe this night would be one that was not so quiet but brought something new with it thanks to these students and perhaps they were brave enough to stay even when they saw the two ghosts? The female ghost knew that the possibility for that was slim but at least bigger than usually when it had come to the point where most of the students seemed to be on their toes whenever they were at the school.

After a small moment of consideration the ghost decided to watch the group from her current position but made her mind that she would move closer to know what the group was about to do if they started to move or maybe even try to enter the school building.

Rei wondered back over to Minako, rolling her eyes at her silly stories and hoping Ami wasn't taking any of those 'rumours' seriously (she doubted she was). "Minako-chan, you're being ridiculous. You don't actually believe any of this, do you..?" She smiled reassuringly at Ami regardless, before glancing back up at the school windows. She kept getting a nagging feeling someone was watching them and it was beginning to irriate her. She hoped it wasn't baka Usagi trying to play a dumb trick.

"Alright, anyway..!" She looked round at everyone. "Any more suggestions for how we are going to get in? I'm pretty sure blasting it down with our senshi powers isn't the more subtle way to go.."

"Maybe I could use my celebrity status along with Tenou and Michiru-san. The number of times people bent the rules for us as long as it was something harmless." Seiya suggested.

"Of course we wouldn't sacrifice you, Ami-chan," Minako said reassuringly to her friend. "If we did that, then who would help us prepare for exams?"

She stuck her tongue out at Rei. "It could be true! And it would explain the ghosts!"

At Rei's mention of their Senshi powers, she waved her hands in front of the dark haired girl's face while covertly looking at Umino and Naru. "Rei-chan! Shhhh!" She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Did anyone think of just trying the front doors? Maybe they aren't locked for the night yet?"

Naru blinked at the dark-haired girl. "Blasting... in? Using military* power?" she replied, cautiously. "Doesn't that seem a little... extreme?"

She wondered what kind of families Usagi's friends had. And she hoped the group wouldn't soon be in trouble for vandalism or destruction of property...

*I'm making a terrible pun based on "senshi" as soldier/warrior.

The sudden mention of Senshi powers in front of citizens made Setsuna feel uneasy and quickly change the subject by pondered different ways to get in aloud. "Well, I don't think going through the door in an option, or scaling the building to use the roof entrance, perhaps the windows are our best option? Surely a teacher here likes to keep their window open during the day and has forgotten to close it or lock it.  Come on, let's look around."

Rei blinked slowly at Minako and looked round at Naru and Umino. Oops, how could she be so stupid?! She was getting too distracted by these uneasy feelings. She gave herself a mental shake.

"Haha... Yes... Some of our good friends," she glanced at Mako and Haruka, "are so strong they could probably blast right in!! But, you know, Seiya's idea is also good..."

Rei deliberately averted her gaze from Minako and Ami - the last thing she wanted was them to see her flustered. Minako would tease and Ami worry.

"well, you do have a point, they don't seem to remember me," Zoisite said in a low voice to Haruka as he explained how they seen him back when he was evil. 

"I'm about to telport to that girls house and bring her here back myself" he also said in a low voice 


"It's getting darker out" he said and looked at phone to see the time

"If it's darker, that means the ghost is more likely to show up, right?" Makoto said. She punched her fist into her palm. "I don't think there's anyone here, so I'm not sure who Seiya could convince to open up the door. Unless the ghost is a huge Three Lights fan. We might need to use force to get in."

Seiya shrugged. "Just thought we had a school security guard or something. Who knows maybe the ghost is a fan!" He smiled trying to lighten the mood.

Haruka Chuckled "well Naru's also been caught up in monster attacks since than to." Haruka said looking at zoisite her voice just as low. "I'm almost tempted to take you up on that she seemed so excited about it earlier I'm starting to get a bit worried." the blond said looking towards the school entrance. she chuckled at all the ideas to get into the school. "well a fan unless they like good music." Haruka said with a smirk. Just because she was going to be good didn't mean she couldn't give the starlight a hard time now did it. she had a way into the school after all she had been the last one to leave the locker rooms and she didn't lock the door leading outside like she was supposed to. Who was she to ruin their fun though so she just let them figure it out among themselves the smirk still plastered on her face. "and Rei I can't afford to get busted for vandalism so that would be a no to your idea of blasting into the school." Haruka added as an after thought.

"maybe we should start without Usagi.. she still is NOT HERE" he said in a annoyed tone.

Just a tiny reminder that goal A should be reached on or before 8/17 .

Haruka nodded she would check on Usagi if the blond still hadn't joined them inside the school. "Girls I did leave a way open for us to get into the school." she said looking at the inner senshi. "That's the great thing about being the last one out of the locker rooms." the blond said with a smirk to the others waiting to see what they said.

"Ah, you could have told us that earlier instead of leaving us guessing," Makoto complained. (She felt the need to speak up quickly- if Seiya said the same thing first, Haruka would probably get more offended.) "Maybe a few of us should check and make sure no one closed the door after you, Haruka."

Naru nodded. "It would be best if two or three people took a quick look. That will attract less attention than all of us," she added.

"Okay, I'll go in first with two other people." Zoisite said

Minako gave Haruka a dirty look and muttered, "Probably liked seeing us standing here flapping around like a chicken with it's head cut off."

She raised a hand. "I'll go too."

If they got caught, Minako was confident she could talk their way out of any trouble, or at least talk enough to confuse whoever caught them. Plus, if she went in first, she'd get the first chance to see the ghost.

Haruka laughed at Minako. "Consider it payback for your little bet earlier." Haruka said. "I'll go ahead and go to." she added in. She knew she could talk their way out if they got caught she was good at that. "and Minako it was entertaining to hear your thoughts on how to get in." the blond said. "After all I enjoy hearing the thoughts of cute girls." she said with a wink in Minako's direction.

"But, but," Minako stuttered in protest, "it wasn't a real bet!" She pouted then. "No one would take the bet, scaredy cats."

When Haruka winked at her, Minako found herself blushing and waving a hand in front of her face to cool the heat. "Stop it, Haruka. That isn't playing fair." She clapped her hands together. "Okay, so Haruka, Zoisite, and I will go and see if the way in through the locker room is still open. If it is, one of us will come get the rest of you or we'll just open the front door. Sound like a plan?"

"That sounds like it'll work," Makoto said, nodding. "Maybe one of us should call Usagi while they're walking over there? I kinda forgot to bring my cellphone," Makoto admitted sheepishly.
