I'm thinking something that will have challenges weekly(?) for maybe...6(?) different categories?

I really want practice on making graphics and this is a good way to make that daily! It's a good way for people to expand and learn new things ^^

I'm thinking these 6 things:

1. 100x100 icon

2. 110x170 avatars

3. 450x150 signature

4. 500 x 700 graphic poster

5. 1235 x 400 Header

6. A graphic inspired by something on GC. (Example, the theme would be based off the wining piece of writing for the writers contest, or the theme would be based off one of the RP storylines)

The reason this would be weekly or so is because a lot of these are smaller graphics, and this will keep you on track and move faster.

I will be making a list of 52 things (one for each week) then using a random number generator to pick the theme for each week ^^

Suggestions? Thoughts?

all you have to do is join the guild ^^ no one at all is limited on who can join a guild, you can even join all 3 of them

This sounds so cool! It will probably help me improve too (because I'm an amateur)!

This is a great way to improve! if we get enough interest i think i will break it up into different ability levels. like, beginner, intermediate, pro or something along those lines, that way people arnt competing against people who have been doing it as long others.

So how are these challenges going to work? I sent a pm to Mercury to join the guild.

This should work Pretty simple I think.

Starting on a Monday I will post the theme of the week. People will have till the end of the next Sunday to enter in their graphic. Voting for those graphics will commence starting on Monday for them, as well as the next theme.

This may seem fast, but it's to help keep creative juices flowing. (not to mention it's 168 hours available )

Themes for each category will be chosen at random off the list. While each category will not be doing the same theme most of the time, there will be exceptions for GC events and such. (Like Halloween, or a Character Birthday, etc)

A Theme is chosen by using a random number generator. The number of the theme will be chosen and then crossed off. Once the entire list is crossed off, it will begin anew.

This seems like a really cool challenge :3 It will help lots of people grow and keep producing lots of new things!!

It'd be cool if we could have a similar challenge for drawing things too!
