Many of our active members were not there to see the beginnings of the Galaxy Cauldon Forums, myself included, so I thought it would be fun to take a trip into the WayBackMachine and see what I could find about our forum back then! With some fancy maneuvers (including digging out the old url), I present you with this:

While it might not have been from the launch of the site, it was the earliest archived copy that retained the forum's original colors!   Using the machine I found only a small number of old headers to drool over share with everyone (Queenie! Your headers are wonderful~~) and I'll provide them below, but something I thought to be really fun to look over (for those members who were there!) was the old forum layout and the usernames from way back when! So many old friends and familiar names just hanging out in the 'who's online' or most recent poster links.   I like remembering everyone! Even if it makes me a bit sad that they've gone  .  People like ElectricBonBon, whom I think used to post a lot in the artist forum? The first Sailor Venus (she was kinda hilarious XD) was online at the time, too! And then SwineFluSam, NauticalNeptune, Thereisnospoon303 (He was Sailor Mercury for a while! ... ?I think SwineFluSam might have been, as well?) And then there's the wonderful Lady Galaxia name floating about~   :bunnykonataeye  oh that foxy lady~


Ahem! Without further stalling (or going into a nostalgia trailer, complete with sepia tones, about my time as a forum lurker before I joined), here are the recovered headers, and a list of familiar names from the online or recent posted threads!

This is the best thread of this forum section, at least in my opinion . I love to read about GC's earlier history ^^.

I joined in early 2012 as Supreme Thunder and them changed my SN to Anjyu lol. I remember those odd dreams I used to have when I first joined the cauldron lol

Man I was real close to being right up there with you guys, I remember the GC's 1st Annual. :)Its been pretty awesome. Many great layouts along the way.

I remember I joined right before the change to our previous layout.  I think..  its hard to remember. I do know that Queenie is talented as heck at making graphics and banners :3

I LOVE THIS THREAD I just posted a few months ago about how cool it would be to have a "past layouts" section!!! I've been trying to remember the header from when I joined... I think it was the one before Saturn. Oh well we'll see

oooh (unfortunately waybackmachine isn't working right now T_T) this is awesome! I have a screen shot of the theme before the current new one so hopefully we can make a bit of an archive thread. I do so miss the old themes at time, Queenie makes such amazing banners!

Saturn was the theme I joined with!!

Huh... was that really it? I don't remember it looking like that but I guess it was I remember a Neptune theme too!
