Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums. I found the GC forums through Tumblr and knew I had to join. I'm a long time SM fan. I first discovered SM when I was 14 or 15 and was hooked with my first episode. I'm 28 now and never lost my love for the series. I'm currently working on getting all the manga and I can't wait for the new series release. I really don't know what else to say, way to early for me to be up, so there ya go. Oh I also write a bunch of SM fanfiction. When I can. I have a six year old and since it's summer, taking care of him dominates a lot of my time so writing takes backseat right now.

Sailor Venus. More so for the manga version than the anime. But I kinda love how she can be so flaky in the anime but when it gets serious, she's one the first ready to get down to business. Mars runs a very close second.

Hello welcome to GC! I am a fan of Sailor Venus as well. ^_^ Have you had the chance to watch the other versions of Sailor Moon, PGSM and Sera Myu? Venus is so different in PGSM, but she is still just as loveable, its just a way different side of her. Maybe more like her manga counterpart from the early manga. ^_^

Hi! Thanks for the reminder about the rules. I've read them but I'm pretty sure that I'll read them again and again until I have them mostly memorized. I just won't be able to help myself.

Hehe I have a busy day at work and getting my son to his grandma's for his week long visit so I'm having to restrain myself from popping over to the writer's guild, otherwise I'll be there all day and no one will be able to pry me off the computer. I get very focused sometimes.

I haven't gotten to watch PGSM or the musicals yet. But they are my my to be watched list. I'm working my way through the anime, again. I just finished SuperS today. Once I finish Stars, I'll watch the movies, and then I'll start PGSM. I'm kinda nervous about it because I'm not to sure about live action SM, but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm reading the mangas again for the first time in years too. I love manga Venus so so so much.

With PGSM, my advice is just to remember it is being done in the style of the Sentai shows like Kamen Rider and Power Rangers, but with Sailor Moon and so much more drama (especially the last half). Once you get a few episodes in, it just gets so enjoyable. ^^

Also speaking of Venus, have you had the chance to read Sailor V? I love it a lot. Its nice seeing her silly side before she became a soldier and regaining her memories.

Manga!Venus is such an amazing character, actually that's my favorite version of her, though she's quite cool in the other versions of SM too. And I see you haven't yet watched PGSM, when you do so I'm sure you'll enjoy it, just remember to keep an open mind about it

I'm pretty sure that I'll enjoy PGSM, once I wrap my head around the whole live action portion. But since I used to love Power Rangers, and still kinda do in that whole nostalgic part of my heart, it shouldn't be too hard. It's just been Sailor Moon anime for me for so long that live action is kinda wha? to me.

I loved Venus in the anime so much but when I read the manga, I fell completely in love with Manga!Venus. There was no going back for me.

I can't wait to write and post some fanfiction. I just need to read the rules for the forums in regard to fanfiction before I go nuts. Cause I have seriously got Sailor Moon on the brain when it comes to writing. I need to channel some of this energy.

How would I go about getting a mentor?

If you loved the Power Rangers, then you'll definitely love PGSM as well ^^

Welcome to GC. And yes PGSM is pretty awesome I hadn't been to sure about it when I started watching it but I was hooked on the first episode (it's also what started making me like the inners). Whenever you get the chance to watch the Musicals I'm sure you'll also enjoy them they quickly beat out PGSM and the anime as my favorites. anyway welcome to GC and I hope you enjoy yourself around the forum.

Lol yeah its like dose of Power Rangers XD I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it at a con.
Heck the entire room was laughing because 1. no one expected it and 2. Luna was a very big surprise.

PGSM is probably the best version of Sailor Moon to date and it helps that they had the creator on board. It's easy to forget how cheesy it looks once you get focused on the story itself. And this is coming from someone who used to be unable to accept real actors as anime characters.

Belated welcome to the Galaxy Cauldron. I have a feeling we'll get along wonderfully :3
