I actually have had a cat named Artemis, but she was named after the Greek goddess.  I have always named my animals after Greek or Roman myths, until I got Hoggle.  My mom named him, and it fits too well to ever have considered changing it.

I did actually! I named one of the neighborhood cats who was black (and very friendly) Luna. And we had another black cat that we owned I named "Mayonaka" from Yaten's character song (Mayonaka Hitori).

I would so name a really dopey dog Mamo XDDD

I actually nicknamed my grey cat "shadow" Diana.

I wouldn't mind having pets named after Sailor Moon characters, but so far that just hasn't made sense when I've added pets to my family. ♥ But maybe someday!

Honestly I might. I currently have a ginger kitten and he's called Loki after the Norse god.
I'd absolutely name a black female cat Luna or a white male cat Artemis without thinking about it.

Actually, now that I think of it, one of my good friends has a cat named Jupiter.

If I had a pet turtle, would definitely name it Kamekichi!  Unfortunately, owning turtles is illegal where I live 

I'm sure I've mentioned it before but I'm still kicking myself for not naming my white cat, Artemis. >< I should've named the last cat (Mia), Diana, cause she ended up being a tiny gray kitten. She hardly grew. xD

I definitely would! If it ever got a black, white, or gray cat, I'd probably name them Luna, Artemis, and Diana.

Omg yeah I'm so with you on that. That just made me think though, what if someone got something fluffy and non-threatening like a little hamster and named it "Death Phantom?" XD I think Zoisite would be a good name for a reptile or amphibian idk why. I guess because Zoisite is green with black stripes like some kind of reptile lol.

So I know this is a totally old topic, but I've actually been considering adopting a cat and naming her either Luna or Diana!
