I don't actually. Still haven't found one so far >_> So I just search them on google images (example: petals gif or something like that). For example this is the petal animation effect I used on the NaruHina picture:

I just resize it and apply to my graphic as any other gif image.

Or sometimes I just "hunt" the animation effect. For example:

THIS IS SO OLD SCHOOL!! and i love it!! it remind me of the old days when everyone was doing this type of graphics (including me) i haven't seen this in a LONG time! (just for the record, i've been doing this since 2002)

@Haine: Aww! Thanks!! And wow! 2002?! That's like... a lot :O I've been born in 1999. Lol. I was a baby by that time Anyway I don't really know how the graphics style evolved along time. It would be really interesting to find out that though   When I started editing and stuff transparent signatures were pretty popular (well... at least on the forum I was doing them). And I wasn't even working with textures by then. Didn't even know what they are xD I still have my very very first graphic I ever did (used GIMP not PS) and it's like a huge difference from now. For the texture I can't remember exactly since I did that one like one year ago. But I do remember the fact the I used a galaxy texture, changed colours to blue/ red then added a pixel pattern. You can download a bunch of them from here I will see if I still have the psd version of the signature though. If so I can tell you exactly which texture I used.

@Marianne: Thanks a bunch! You're really sweet and also an amazing graphics maker *-* I've been through your whole request thread so I can admire all the wonderful signatures you made XD Hope that's not too weird... I always feel like I can learn something from seeing other people's styles and works. ^^ And yours are really stunning!

I also have my first graphic in one of the DVD i have recorded!, it was made on paint shop pro, 0 textures, 0 colorings, i had no idea what layers where, i focused on this sort of 3D border i figured out by myself how to do it (today i have no idea how to make them xD). i spent a lot of time doing that only until 2003-2004 (i remember because PGSM was airing) i learned what layers where and my whole world changed. since i've been on forums (a lot btw) i've seen so many styles and trends, so the one you have now bring back the old days ='). also my style have evolved over the years, until i found a style that i like, even tho some people don't, and of course keep learning new things =), i've tried to recreate some of the old stuffs i used to make but failed xD the new stuff i know now made it difficult.

Keep working hard, you are doing a great job! =D

I know I started doing graphics because I saw a girl on a forum doing them. And I really loved the way she was doing them so decided I should try it myself. It was a pain at first though because I wasn't able to have PS and I felt very frustrated. Lol.  The idea with recreating some old stuff sounds really interesting. I should give it a try too when I've got the time   Thanks for sharing your thoughts <3 I always find it pleasing hearing the "history" about how someone started doing graphics~

That also happened to me! but in my case i felt fascinated by swirls on a signature (brush in shape of huge swirls) and i wanted to "do" that too.

stories are the best, they inspire you to keep on =D and also another advice, save your works, at leas the one that you love the most so in a few years you look back and realize how much have you grown, the feeling is incredible =) believe me that's how i saw my progress, it helped me to keep on =).

Oh I do keep them *-* And it does amaze me that when I look at old works I ask myself frequently how could I not see those details before  I was like using the outer glow on text like an explosion and adding so many brushes in background that you couldn't even understand well what's in there anymore. Lol    Though by that time that didn't bother me at all since I wasn't noticing. I was the happiest person in the world 'cuz I could manage to do it
