I noticed theres a thread for listing one's favorite anime series, but what about animated shows that not of Japanese origin? I used to watch alot of cartoons as a kid, then my interests shifted to anime, then back to cartoons these past couple years (more like a mix of both really). So I found myself revisiting alot of old childhood favorites along with animated shows I've never seen before that I really enjoyed.
Anyways, lets kick this thread off with my list of favorites...
Darkwing Duck Ducktales Bonkers My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Dan VS Rocko's Modern Life My Life as a Teenage Robot Garfield and Friends Phineas and Ferb Gravity Falls The Looney Tunes Show SwatKats
...So whats yours?

I'm going to avoid mentioning childhood memories because I would have a ridiculously long list here. xD
However in more recent times I've grown to enjoy many shows and animated movies:
-Just about any of the DC and Marvel animated movies/cartoons. ALL THE BATMAN MOVIES, Silver Surfer, etc. -My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic -Batman Beyond (as I'm rewatching it, it really is good, even with its typical comic book cartoon camp and cheese lines) -Adventure Time -Littlest Pet Shop (I've only watched a few episodes, but I can def see me loving this show more) -Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra (i wish there were more shows like these on tv) -the Tinkberbell Movies (I realize these aren't a tv series but they should so make one...why are they so cute and full of Disney cheese? XD) -King of the Hill -Squidbillies -Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law -Space Ghost: Coast to Coast' -Venture Brothers -a large majority of Adult Swim shows lol
Thats all I can think of right now. xD

Hmm ...
Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Legend of Korra Jackie Chan Adventures Batman Beyond X-Men: Evolution Wolverine and the X-Men
Disney Movies Classic Disney Classic Cartoons (Tom & Jerry, etc.)
XD, and I have to say, Jackie Chan Adventures and Batman Beyond have aged really well. The first is still very amusing and the fight scenes are epic(ly funny), while the second is a very fitting possibility for Gotham. I'm not big on comics and whatnot, but Beyond is a good one. X-Men animation I prefer over the comics [because of how inconsistent comics are], and the exploration of the social issues and hierarchy interests me. Avatar is also awesome all the way around. Both incarnations of it.

I don't know DIC is exactly Japanese-made, because some of their shows are animated in France, thus can count as western (in part) animation. Haim Saban used to be part of the DIC production board before he left them to form his own company.
DIC made Inspector Gadget, Little Clowns of Happy Town, Captain Planet and Planeteers, and Ghostbusters which doesn't show any anime influence at all.
When I was growing up in the 1980s and 90s, I watched Classic Disney toons as well the animated shows like Gummi Bears, Wuzzles, Duck Tales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers and Goof Troop.
Some shows made by Hanna-Barbera like The Flintstones, the Jetsons, Scooby-Doo (plus the one with Scrappy-Doo, and the Pup Named Scooby Doo) and Yogi's Gang.
I liked Nickelodeon's own cartoons Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, and Rocko's Modern Life.
On Saturday Mornings, I watched Garfield and Friends, Bobby's World, Ninja Turtles and Muppet Babies.
On Cartoon Network, I enjoyed Teen Titans, Code Lyoko and Totally Spies which has traces of anime influence on them.
And finally those made by Warner-Bros. like Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Taz-mania and Animaniacs.
Currently, I watch Family Guy, South Park and still the Simpsons, but I hadn't seen King of the Hill (I think it's on Adult Swim), and Beavis and Butthead in a long time, watched them back in the 1990's.

Same here, which is why I stuck with only listing childhood shows that I rewatched in more recent years (and found out I still loved).

I watched cartoons aimed at girls, but boys also watched it as well: My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite and Jem all in the 1980s. My father falsely believed me and my bro watching those shows "turns us gay", but mom said "it's not true" and allowed us to watch them, LOL.

Jackie Chan and Batman Beyond were awesome. Also if you enjoyed those X-Men cartoons I recommend checking out X-Men the Animated Series if you haven't already. That's another cartoon that aged really well and Batman the Animated Series too.
As for my list:
Arthur Batman the Animated Seres Casper Dark Wing Duck Ghostbusters Hercules Jackie Chan Adventures Loony Toons Static Shock Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X-Men the Animated Series
I kept it to one per letter.

-over the garden wall -gravity falls -dexters lab -camp lazlo -codename kids next door -rick and morty -south park -king of the hill -fosters home for imaginary friends -powerpuff girls -regular show -adventure time -clarance -steven universe -fairly odd parents (older seasons) -spongebob squarepants (older seasons) -american dad -family guy (older seasons) -archer -the grim adventures of billy and mandy -the amazing world of gumball -edd, edd n eddy -courage the cowardly dog -rugrats -house of mouse and a whole bunch of other disney toons featuring the main cast (mostly classics) -catdog -jimmy neutron -totally spies -invader zim
I may have covered all of them, I think. Again, some I enjoyed more then others, and some I obsessed over more then others, and some I'm not obsessed over anymore but either way these shows were/are fantastic.

Now, I like the X-Men, Family Guy, South Park and Pinky and the Brain, but growing up I also loved the Smoggies. I'm inclined to say I liked Captain Planet, but I'm pretty sure that was just for the awesome opening theme.
