I ask because I'd always wanted to send her a letter, especially now more than ever to thank her.
You see, when I was younger and my love for Sailor Moon as at its height, I came up with this original, magical girl-type story...Sailor Moon inspired of course....and I just kept writing page after page, one story arc after another, and later completely new ones. Then I decided to share these stories with others, to get it out into the world, some how some way. 10 years later, I look back and realize how childish some of those earlier stories where, but that dream remained strong and I continued to write.
Now i'm on the verge of completing my first novel, its done basically, just needs editing before I try sending it to some publishers. Even after all this time, Sailor Moon still somehow managed to influence my original works, even if it was just some minor detail (heck, even the novel I'm working on).
I just feel obliged to send her a letter letting her know that the very series she created gave me the inspiration to make my own stories, and the motivation to get them out there. Sure there's email, but I feel a hand written letter would be best (so I can send her a drawing too ^^). I'm also debating if I should wait until I actually get it published, so I can send her a copy, but that could be a whole year from now, maybe longer. (Not to mention the possible shipping cost.)
So if anybody knows, can you please share it?
...and for those curious to know what its about. I won't give away much now (as i'm very protective of my original works, and plan to advertise it like crazy once its copyrighted anyways), but I will say its a dark fantasy story, with horror elements in it. Its kinda similar to Harry Potter, but there's influence from Fullmetal Alchemist as well. (Rest assured, its not a total Potter clone.)
