Hey there everyone!

I'm Pocky Pants (or if you prefer, Meagan - but that's quite boring lol) and new here to the forums. I saw a post about the new guilds on tumblr and decided it's about time I step into the Sailor Moon community.

I've been a long time fan of Sailor Moon, since I was in elementary school. I would watch the dub on cartoon network every day and save my little allowance to go buy the manga whenever I could. Now that I'm "all grown up" (or so people tell me - always a kid at heart!) I've explored each of the adaptations. The manga is and will always be my favorite. The anime - dub is nostalgic, sub is much less annoying. PGSM I found cheesy but adorable, I cried so much. As for Sera Myu, I'm still slowly but surely getting around to watching all of the versions. It took me a long time to start because I was intimidated by it, actually. I've only seen the first few but with my loves of Sailor Moon and of Musical Theater, I knew I would enjoy it.

Fandom wise, as a child I was constantly drawing fan art or creating my own "otaku senshi". I even sent Naoko Takeuchi a fan letter once along with a bunch of terrible fan art. These days I'll still occasionally doodle - but mainly I am a cosplayer. I've cosplayed multiple versions of Sailor Chibi Moon (my favorite character), Sailor Guccicii and Sailor Pallas. I've got more on my to do list of course! Wicked Lady will be my next one, for Dragon*Con 2013.
I also have done the littlest bit of graphics and photo manipluations...

Anyways, I believe that's about all I've got for y'all! I look forward to meeting everyone and participating more in these forums.

I also happen to do a "Moonie Monday" each week where I feature one of my favorite Sailor Moon cosplays. Although I must admit I've been lazy about doing it the past couple weeks...

As for the cosplay guild - that's actually the reason I joined this forum in the first place! lol I'm lame.

This years will be my first Dragon*Con as well as my first convention outside of Texas (actually, outside of the DFW area). So I'm really, really excited!
(So no AWA for me, though I've had lots of friends that have gone and heard great things!)

Lol! Also guilty as charged. My daughter has a massive collection, and I've learned all the songs so I can sing them to her. Although there are a lot of loop holes in their movies (Don't get me started on Barbie in a Mermaid Tale and it's sequel) they tell really good stories.

Ah, I've stopped watching the newer ones since they've started making them all modern day. Fashion Fairytale was my last one, I was a fan of the classic fairy tale type.

My toddler doesn't care. She just picks up whatever new barbie movie is at Walmart when my husband I go looking for new tv shows to watch.
