| I have two questions that I'd like your guy's thoughts on, based what we see in the manga.
So everyone knows the "Tokyo is the Center of the Universe" trope and all the villain only seem to attack Tokyo. But while thinking about the plot for my doujinshi I started wondering about something. When the Black Moon clan attacked Crystal Tokyo, would the effect of their negative power have been felt throughout the Earth, and not just in Crystal Tokyo? Was there more than one Black Crystal that touched down but was just never shown? Would there have been death and destruction laid across the planet? We never see any reinforcement arrive to help Crystal Tokyo, suggesting that either help could not get into the city or there was no one left to come and help at all.
Another thing I started thinking about is that Chibi Usa and King Endymion stated that the citizens of Crystal Tokyo collapsed after the Black Crystal touched down in the city, and it's implied that people's bodies started to decay and vanish. Then at the end of the Black Moon arc Neo Queen Serenity is shown bringing the people who had fallen back to life. But for those that had already died and vanished, did she bring them back to life too? The power of the Silver Crystal certainly makes it seem possible, but a quick and simple resurrection of the dead feels too deus ex machina for me, as it robs Death of its gravity. I feel like the Silver Crystal can revive those on the brink of death and can facilitate rebirth, but cannot bring back the dead directly, that even it has to obey some higher law about death and rebirth. If not then Queen Serenity could've brought her entire court back to life instead of having them reborn on Earth after battling Metalia, and NQS could have revived Pluto on the spot instead of letting Pluto be reborn into the 20th century.

| Are we talking about the anime, manga or seramyu? |

| I'll take this one in manga canon.
I think the only one Neo Queen Serenity could have saved where those whose corpses haven't disapeared. In Another Story, it is confirmed that they were casualties. (Such as Sin's parents).
I think only Tokyo was touched. And maybe a big part of Japan. And Earth must have been decaying in every others countries but not as extremely. |

Oop! I'm wondering about the manga, yes. Sorry about that. - Mayonnaise wrote:

Maybe there might've even been a ward or something created by the Black Crystal around Crystal Tokyo so that those on the outside can't get in, and if if they could get in they would end up suffering the same fate as the residents. |
