In both the anime and manga the senshi have the same hair color and eye color, hair style and frame. Naoko often drew her characters with different colors but it wasn't actually put into the story. If you could make the sensho's human identities different from their senshi counterpart, how would you do that?

Usagi: Blond Hair, Light Blue Eyes.
Sailor Moon: White Hair, Dark Blue eyes.

Minako: Blond Hair, Sky Blue Eyes.
Sailor Venus: Gold hair, Yellow eyes.

Ami: Dark Blue hair, Light Blue eyes.
Sailor Mercury: Icy blue hair, Dark Watery blue eyes.

Rei: Black Hair, Indigo eyes.
Sailor Mars: Violet Hair, Red eyes.

Makoto: Brown Hair, emerald eyes.
Sailor Jupiter: Electric Green hair, forest green eyes

Setsuna: Blackish Green tinted hair, Maroon eyes.
Sailor Pluto: Dark Forest Green hair, Garnet eyes.

Haruka: Sandy blond hair, Navy blue eyes
Sailor Uranus: White hair with a slight blue tint, Aquamarine eyes.

Michiru: Teal-blue hair, aquatamarine eyes.
Sailor Neptun: Teal-seagreen hair, Navy blue eyes.

Hotaru: Black hair, violet eyes.
Saturn: Light violet hair, Black eyes.

Chibiusa: Pink hair, Red eyes.
Chibimoon: Rose Red hair, pink eyes.


Most of my ideas were a mix of colors often used for them in various art, the manga and the anime but some were just my ideas^^

I'd go the manga route. Senshi are perfectly recognizable to people who know them, so they wear masks.

Mercury's mask would double as a computer/visor.

Venus would keep two different masks - a gold Venus mask, and a red Sailor V mask. When Minako tranforms, she always becomes Sailor Venus first, but if she trades masks her fuku changes and she becomes Sailor V.

How would a mask change their appearance so dramatically, though? They ain't got no top hats! D:

I love this idea! It would make it a much more dramatic transformation, so it's not like they just changed clothes but that they're completely different. Love it.

Nah, I'm kidding. The patterns of the masks would help disguise their faces, but someone who actually knows them might be able to see through the disguise. It would be worthless for Usagi to disguise herself from Naru, for example, unless there was enough going on (like say, smoke, magic flashing lights, whatever) that would make it harder for Naru to see Sailor Moon.

Battlefield chaos, masks, and the differences in how the Senshi carry themselves and act would be the entire disguise. Not foolproof by any means.

It is worth noting how I assume the Senshi act differently when they're Senshi, as opposed to when their off the clock. No one would connect shy-but-icy Ami to confident, purposeful Sailor Mercury, or gentle-giant/frightening Makoto to the maternal seeming, heroic Sailor Jupiter. (Okay, I'm coloring the characters with my perceptions of them.)

I would give them different hair styles^^ I'd like them all to have their uniform styles fukus but I'd also like them to have their own fuku's that depicts the originality of their home planets^^

I've always liked the way PGSM did it, with making them having realistic hair and eye colors while in civilian form, and then once they transformed they would have the crazy colors. I've always done this with my own senshi.

I would love to see Usagi with pink her when she henshin, like originally Naoko thought. same eye color
I agree with Minako having golden hair when she henshin. same eye color
Mars, no change
Ami, chocolate-ish hair before henshin and hazel eyes. after henshin blue eyes.
Mako, same hair color but i would love to see another type of ponytail before she henshin. rest the same.

Looked like Michiru and Haruka it's funny to because the characters are named Ruka and Michiru and Ruka loves dirt bikes

They are even named Ruka and Michiru!!!! This is like destriny and they do look perfect to the parts kajdghjkafgh I just had a serious love love meltdown lol
