Hello everyone, my name is Akumi. I was curious and wondered if there a forum out there for this series, since I've recently gotten back into it with the manga re-release, and discovered this forum by chance through Google. I spent a week being a lurker of the site, before finally deciding to join. It will be a pleasure to become acquainted with you all.

I'm a 17-year-old gal who lives in a small college town in Alabama. I consider myself to be a pretty big dork who likes to crack jokes, but I'm actually pretty shy around others. I'm much more confident online then in real life, so I don't believe that my introversion will be that obvious. Some other randoms facts about myself is that I have three adorable cats and that my zodiac sign is cancer. I also suffer from random, out-of-nowhere fangirliness and I often gush about the things I'm obsessed with.

I've been a fan of Sailor Moon for over a decade now. Like a good majority of fans, I was first introduced to Sailor Moon through the English dub as a child. As a child, I would often have escapist dreams in which I was actually a sailor scout, and I still occasionally have dreams such as those to this day. Let's all be honest though, who doesn't wish they were secretly a magical girl?

I spend my free time making graphics, writing and reading fiction, and watching movies.

My favorite entries in the Sailor Moon franchise would have to be Sera Myu, PGSM, and Another Story. I feel that Sera Myu and PGSM have the best takes on the original story, and have the best characterization, and I liked how Another Story is basically the baby of the manga and anime. But I've liked all of the additions to franchise, since they all have a interesting take on the original story.

My favorite character is definitely Ami. I feel as if I relate to her in some ways, and I have always aspired to be as intelligent as she is. Some of my other favorite characters would be Minako, Setsuna, Hotaru, Chibiusa, Mamoru, Serenity, Helios, Chibi Chibi, and several of the villains and just random and more minor characters.

I have a variety of other interests besides Sailor Moon. I'm a huge fan of Junji Ito, who definitely makes the list of my all-time favorite mangakas. I'm also a fan of Higurashi, Madoka Magica, Haruhi Suzumiya, and Hell Girl, just to name a few. I also love horror games, creepypastas (yeah, I'm a huge horror nut), and animated movies.

Aw nice to meet you Akumi and welcome to the GC I'm the same way to I make more friends online then in real life I'm more of a shy person, it takes me a while making friends but omg its awesome you like helios, mamoru and serenity there my Favorite characters of Sailor Moon as well

@Mayonnaise: Ooh, I love Ib and Yume Nikki! I'm also a fan of .flow, Ao Oni, Corpse Party, Eversion, The Longing Ribbon, and The Witch's House. I've also been working on a Yume Nikki fangame, which was inspired by some of the other fangames I've seen (but especially .flow). And now I'm eagerly looking up Majo no Ie, Madfather, and Misao, since I've been wanting to play some more indie horror games as of lately. Thanks for mentioning those!

.flow is my favourite YN spin-off ^^ Creepy as hell, I loved it. i'm currently playing LCD Dem and Me. Those are good as well, but a bit too long IMO @_@
I didn't like much Ao Oni, though

Majo no Ie is The Witch's House x)" I just call it by its japanese name, mainly because my girlfriend (who introduced me to those games) calls it that way.

Ib is definitely my favorite as well, because even with all of the horror elements, the story has a lot of emotion and heart to it. And the villain was excellent as well.

Mary was my favorite character in the game, but apparently if you say that then it makes you a bad fan of the game. I felt sorry for her in a way, what with her being trapped there. Honestly, I liked all of the characters in the game, they all added something to it.
