Slowly and gracefully, Sailor Eris' black heels touched the surface of the moon. She then lifted her petite face upward, allowing her eyes to stare at the massive kingdom before her. Beautiful, white columns stood before her, outlining the equally mesmerizing pathway that stood over the water below. She then began walking, leading her steps forward, until she reached the end of the pathway. The Sailor Soldier now had a much closer view of an extravagant castle made of silver and white material that certainly captivated the soldier. To the left and the right were magnificent towers that all formed a beautiful pattern, but what mostly caught her attention was the structure in the center. With a round ceiling, the middle structure was a beautiful one that towered over all of the others. It was the borderline of the left and the right, making the entire kingdom symmetrical.

The black eyes of the soldier of chaos began glistening against the glowing kingdom as she continued to gaze at the beauty in front of her. She remembered hearing stories of the gorgeous kingdom, the Silver Millennium, and of the even more gorgeous queen who ruled it. With her silver hair and white dress, she watched over the people. Because of her ruling, the Silver Millennium was a kingdom to be admired by the rest of the solar system, or in Kurai's case, envied. As a young girl who was locked away in a castle orbiting a planet plagued by chaos, Sailor Eris, or, at the time, Princess Eris, never could experience the prosperity and joy that those of the Silver Millennium could. As a result, she always felt envious of the people of the moon, especially the princess who she had heard stories and stories about - Princess Serenity. She too had glorious silver hair and a white dress that matched her mother's, and had four powerful Sailor Soldiers who devoted their lives to protecting her. Meanwhile, Princess Eris had dull knights who could barely remember her name as her defense.

After looking back at her past life, Sailor Eris sighed. In retrospect, her life was awful - heck, her life was still awful. Her current incarnation was that of an orphan girl who lived in isolation and solitude.

"Why can't my life glow like yours?" she cried out, causing a few tears to drop from her eyes. However, she received no answer. Perplexed, she called out again.

"Hello?"

Sailor Eris, baffled, began looking around. She fixed her gaze upon various different portions of the kingdom. However, there still seemed to be no sign of life. Wondering what was going on, she began walking around, attempting to find any people of the kingdom. Step by step, Sailor Eris scouted the entire kingdom, leaving many, many echoes of the sound of heels against marble throughout the castle. However, despite her desperate search, she found nothing. Her efforts were, to say the least, futile.

"What the..."

Something was wrong.

Or more so, off kilter. Pluto could sense it in her very bones that there was something going on. She first thought it an intruder in the Time Vortex, to which she readied her stance and focused on the tiniest details that might give away her opponent.

But when nothing happened, and Pluto could still feel something was off, she became confused. Moving from her protective stance she looked around, double checking for any hint at all of an invasion.

Nothing.

Maybe something is wrong with the Princess? Looking into her Garnet Orb she gazed down at the young blonde girl as she sat, faintly snoring in class. Pluto chuckled. No, everything with the Princess was normal. So what was it that was bothering her?

She continued to use her Garnet Orb to gaze upon the other Inner Senshi, but they were also in class and fine. She looked for Uranus and Neptune, who turned out to be shopping with Hotaru at the Jubaan Shopping District. Everything seemed normal.

Finally, like a muse upon her shoulder, she got the hint to look down upon the renewed Silver Millennium in all its glory and barely catch a hint of something black disappearing behind the white marble entryway.

Someone was invading the Moon Kingdom.

As quick as she could, Pluto raised her Garnet Rod and called to Chronos, the God of Time, to transport her to the Moon Kingdom and to the invader.

Upon arrival, she collected herself and steadied her mind and body for the fight to come. Scrutinizing the area, Pluto saw nothing of the mysterious invader, but she knew without a doubt that they were here.

After several more hours of scouting the kingdom, Sailor Eris finally gave up. The fact that the perfectly undamaged kingdom lacked any denizens was completely uncanny. Despite the fact that she had learned of the beautiful kingdom and its even more magnificent people, the mass of white marble was...empty.

Bewildered, but more disillusioned, Kurai made her way back to the entrance. She left a trail of sounds of heels against marble as she walked, but she no longer cared about the echoing noise. Why was no one here? Why was she alone? She felt even more isolated than she did back at home, leaving her with chills surrounding her body.

Eventually, Kurai arrived at a grand hallway with an array of vast windows resting upon the walls. She began walking down this corridor, passing by each of the stainless glass beauties, when a certain figure managed to grab her attention. She quickly turned her head to the side, now staring directly out one of the windows. After a moment or two of scavenging the view, she found exactly what had attracted her view - a figure. Upon closer inspection, Sailor Eris noticed that this figure was...a Sailor Soldier. However, it all seemed too strange. The entire kingdom was empty, yet this one Sailor Soldier suddenly came here? Why? And to add to the strangeness, this particular soldier seemed to have her guard up - as if some sort of enemy was nearby. As a result, Sailor Eris continued to stand by the window instead of greeting her, as the soldier could be a hostile threat.

Keeping her eyes shrp to any movement, Pluto slowly walked towards the palace. Part of her brain noted that, while still glorious, the Silver Millennium was so empty and hallow without its people thriving among it. Pluto longed for the days when Crystal Tokyo would rise up and peace could finally be established on Earth.

While Pluto was thinking, her subconcious noticed the black figure in one of the windows. Startled by the figures sudden appearance, Pluto spun towards the enemy and fired an attack without a thought, much to her disdain.

"Dead Scream!" The purple ball of energy blasted from her Garnet Rod and hit the palace window, just shy of the figure. She shook herself from her minute of panic and chastised herself for being to abrupt. But with the action already completed, she had no other option to wait for the enemys return fire.

After slowly walking toward the palace, shortening the time between Kurai's heartbeats with every step, the Sailor Soldier outside mysteriously stopped in her tracks. Sailor Eris quickly widened her eyes in fear, and her heart correspondingly began racing at rapid speeds. Despite the fact that she didn't even certainly know why this woman was here, the soldier of chaos had no qualms about seeing her as a hostility.

She was right.

Suddenly, and with only slight warning, the woman quickly raised the silver rod in her hands and pointed it straight at Kurai, unleashing a burst of purple energy at the call of what seemed to be an attack phrase. The energy then flew straight toward the black clad soldier, giving her much less than a moment to escape. As a result, she quickly threw her body to the side, leaping horizontally. While in midair, the purple energy then made contact with the window, crashing through. The glass shattered explosively, as did the marble wall surrounding it. The force of the impact sent Sailor Eris flying much farther than she had intended to. The launching of her body was ended once she landed on the marble floor. After sliding a few inches backward, her body stopped, and she was then left lying down in the midst of white rubble and glass shards.

After a moment of lying down, trying to recover, Sailor Eris pulled her body upward, now leaving her in a sitting position. She then shrugged off a few smaller pieces of rubble and a rather minuscule glass shard as she finally brought her whole body up. She was now standing on her two legs, completely undamaged - the most harmful part of the attack was not the actual strike, but instead the shock of the event. However, the soldier of chaos managed to set aside those thoughts. Now, ready to return fire, she quickly slid to the side, now facing toward her opponent through the gigantic gap in the wall. Her hands then began gliding upward gracefully, reaching a position where her now crossed arms were pointing skyward.

"Grim...," she began reciting.

Upon speaking those words, what seemed to be a black silhouette of a massive cloaked skeleton was formed above her. The entity of darkness than summoned something resembling a black silhouette of a scythe in the same manner as she did, preparing for attack.

"...Disturbance!" the girl shouted, quickly bringing her arms down. As she finished the phrase with a shout, the black entity floating above her soared downward at immense speeds, scythe prepared. With an uncanny aura that could make the most courageous warrior tremble in fear, it went to attack the threat.

"Uh oh.."

Pluto jumped out of the way of the enemy's attack and almost cleared it. But the scythe reached out and hit her, making a long and deep gash along her upper arm.

Crying out in pain she lay on the ground holding her arm to try and stop the bleeding. This new enemy was strong, and she couldn't afford to show her weakness.

Clutching her arm she struggled to stand up. She managed to get herself to her knees but realized she was useless without her Garnet Rod. She let go of her arm to reach for it, but the pain that shot through her body was overwhelming. She cried out again and fell down to her side.

Her breathing was labored and her sight was blurry. The amount of blood she was losing was immense. Reaching for her Rod she clutched it in her hand, determined to win this fight.

"Chro..nos.. Ty.. Ty.. Typhoon!" She breathed the attack with all her might and pointed her rod at the enemy. The attack spun towards the black figure and Pluto hoped it them, but she blacked out before she could see its results.

Arms spread out in front of her, Sailor Eris watched as the black entity that was her creation soared down, blasting straight through the gravity of the kingdom. Her eyes watched tentatively as the cloaked darkness dove straight into the ground, crashing though the floor. The impact forced the black entity to crush the ground, creating a sizable crater, before it dispersed into nothingness. Much to her disappointment, the opposing soldier threw her body to the side, jumping out of the way before making contact with her attack. However, after closer inspection, her gazing eyes noticed that there was a massive, red gash exposing her inner arm. The arcane opponent quickly gripped the flesh with the hand of her unharmed arm, attempting to conceal the injury.

After noticing the red that she had caused, Sailor Eris suddenly felt...odd. A surge of cold rushed up her spine while her eyes widened. She could feel her heart and mind correspondingly feeling uncomfortable, all as her arms, as if they had their own free will, quickly pulled themselves to her chest. These series of changes took place as she stared intently at what was before her - a falling Sailor Soldier. The woman outside, a level below her, had dropped to the floor, cringing in pain. The white of her gloves shifted to red, and her darker skin rose in color shades. The sight of injuries always managed to bring back memories of...darker times. Therefore, Kurai was never too fond of witnessing severe pain of others.

"Chro..nos.. Ty.. Ty.. Typhoon!"

The Soldier of Chaos was pulled back into reality as a surge of powerful gusts made contact with her body, blasting her meters away. She crashed back through a door behind her, crushing it into multiple pieces, and tumbled into the room that was being covered. The black funnel that had just been used against her then dispersed. Now on the floor once again, Sailor Eris pushed her body off the ground and ran forward. After a few steps, she quickly stopped herself into a halt upon reaching the large gap in the wall.

"Oh god."

On the floor outside was the sailor soldier. Her eyes had been shot as her body rested lifelessly on the ground. Her once darker skin had rose in terms of color shades, and she no longer had grip upon anything. Worried, Kurai stretched her arm out forward, palm faced toward the unconscious individual. A band of black then appeared and proceeded to wrap itself around the woman's gash, temporarily blocking the loss of blood. Now with that taken care of, she turned to the side and took off, dashing down the halls. Step after step, she traveled through the complex of marble buildings, attempting to get as far away as she could from the site of prior destruction.

Light slowly flooded back into Pluto's mind as she came back to life. She raised her head, pushing her palm against her eye in an attempt to block out the pain that shot through her head.

Then she realized, shouldn't she be completely blacked out right now? She had lost a lot of blood thanks to the gash..

Looking down to her arm she gasped in surprise. A black ribbon was wrapped around her arm, stopping the flow of blood and putting much needed pressure on her wound.

Where had that come from?

The only logical explanation would be the girl in black she had been previously fighting, but that didn't make much sense given that Pluto had attacked her without warning.

Looking around she didn't see the mysterious woman. Picking herself up slowly, she took baby steps towards the broken palace entrance. Pluto sighed. The others would not be happy about the condition she put it in.

But right now she had to focus on finding that other woman. Garnet Rod in one hand nd the other extended for balance, Pluto slowly made her way through the rubble and into the palace to find the woman in black.

Corridor after corridor, Sailor Eris raced past countless doors, windows, and marble sculptures. Every step of the way, her heart unleashed endless barrages of beats, displaying her internal fear and desire to escape. Her heart raced only as quickly as her feet did, all as she dashed throughout the castle's halls.

Rushing against the wind, hair blowing backwards, Sailor Eris continued to make quick steps that led her through the kingdom's buildings. Sounds of heels against marble blasted the halls, filling the corridors with echos. The monumental structure of the moon made it nearly impossible to track her, especially while she was a moving target darting throughout the entire palace. She felt thankful for that, at least until she realized she wasn't dealing with a simple opponent - the opposing side was a Sailor Soldier, a Sailor Soldier who was most likely familiar with the architectural structure of the castle. The thought was a painful one, but she decided to continue her evasion plan, no matter how unsuccessful it could turn out to be.

Eventually, after realizing how much of an endless maze the castle was, Sailor Eris skidded into a halt. The movement in her legs stopped as she stood still. However, her heart continued to blast her chest with heavy thuds, along with the strong breaths being released from her now open mouth. Before her was another outstretched corridor made entirely of glowing marble. However, this time, instead of viewing the hall as a pathway, she focused more on what was on the wall facing toward her - a set of tall doors. These closed openings obviously led to rooms, also known as hiding spots. Realizing this, the black clad soldier slowly made a few steps forward until she reached one of the doors, and then stretched her arm forward. Once her fingers were within reach of the handle of one of the doors, she gripped it lightly and turned, only to find that it would refuse to open. She sighed under her breath, due to her disappointment. Not because she could not access the room of course, oh no, she had another method of reaching the room, but because the remaining option of entering would certainly make her an easier target to find.

After moments of thinking, she decided on a resolution. Despite the fact that her newly made resolution could increase the chances of her being caught and possibly even lead to her demise, she knew that she had no remaining stamina left for escape. Ready, she let out a small duo of grunts, clearing her throats, and then proceeded to complete her goal.

"Grim Disturbance!"

Her hands stretched forward, unleashing a massive silhouette that crashed through the marble wall, turning it into nothing more than a pile of white rubble and wooden planks. The attack left a gigantic gap in the wall that stretched throughout the entire hallway. Now mostly satisfied, but also slightly worried, she lifted her foot and let it down before her, taking a step within the newly opened room. The girl then pulled her entire body within with another step. Now inside, a lifeless, black wall manifested behind her, blocking the gap.

"Oh god, I hope that's enough," she muttered under her breath with a frightened tone.

The sound of crumbling marble came to Pluto in a series of confusing echoes. She spun around herself, trying to find the source of it, but realized it was no use. The castle was massive and with no other structural integrity to it than marble, every sound sounded like it was put through a megaphone.

Silencing her mind and soul, Pluto closed her eyes and tuned her ears to the smallest of sounds, using the cavernous palace to her advantage.

She heard a whisper. A breath of a sound that could be someone talking to themselves.

Her eyes shot open and with all her might Pluto pushed herself as fast as she could towards the sound. Thanks to her memories of the Silver Millennium before its fall, she had the strategic advantage knowing the short passageways and short cuts. But she knew she could still be falling behind the unknown woman, due to her injury and previous passing out. So she pushed herself; sweat dripping off her face as she struggled to stay awake through the pain in her arm.

Finally she came across a gaping hole in the entrance way to the Ball Room. This must have been where the echoes of crashing marble had come from.

Pluto stepped through and caught a glimpse of black on the other side of the room. "Wait! I won't attack! You have my word. I just want to know who you are, and why you are here." She usually wasn't open about her plans with the unknown, but the woman had seemed to running from her, for reasons she did not know.

Maybe trying to talk with her will cause her to pause.
