| Hey there, My name is Amy (I go by salve dei genetrix on the inter webs). I'm 24, and an American expatriate living in Jordan and loving the Middle East so far. I work for a web start up here. I've been in love with Sailor Moon ever since I was 5 and saw the first commercial for it while I was living in Hawaii. Usagi in all of her incarnations is my fav character (  represent!) I think the anime and manga are my favorite versions, I love Sera Myu though and I enjoyed some of PGSM. Sailor moon helped develop me-- I got in sailing because of it-- though there was no sailing in the series, the sailor thing still got me interested in what real sailors did! It also developed my writing, though if anyone were to find my horrid HP/SM crossovers on FF.net, I'd totally deny having written them. XD I also draw sometimes, and am currently revamping an RPG I've run where I get to play out all of my headcanons! In my free time I like to read (fiction and non-fiction), write, knit, dance, do graphics and web design, and I love traveling and seeing new things (eating them too-- I'm a total food tourist). I also study Arabic (four years in college was NOT enough) and am learning additional programming languages. I enjoy other fandoms, though I don't watch as much anime or read as much manga as I used to... I love Fushigi Yuugi, Harry Potter, Alias, Burn Notice, Jane Austen (the Youtube Lizzie Bennet diaries FTW!), Pirates of the Caribbean, Royal Pains, Forbrydelsen (the Killing), and other crazy stuff!  I am happy to find this active community of fellow BSSM lovers and I look forward to chatting with you all! Thanks to the admins and mods for building and running such a great place... I've poked around a little bit and it's really neat! <3 Also, all of the emoticons are made of win.  |
