| My first instinct would seem to be no. I'm thinking specifically of the S movie, which takes place in winter, even though the S series takes place in spring. Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chibi-Moon are all present. No mention is made of Saturn. Any way to reconcile this with the series?
I remember less specifics about the R and Super S movies, so I'm not sure how well that these fit in. |

| Actually the S series does go into Winter look at the episode with Vilyui, snow everywhere. If the S Movie fits in anywhere, it must go in around there. The R Movie would have to go in sometime during Esmeraude's arc, there is absolutely no place SuperS could fit in... except in between the first and second episodes of Sailor Stars o.o
Best to think of Sailor Moon's anime as not five seasons of one big series, but five series that are followed consecutively, this is why theres a new subtitle on each season rather than going Sailor Moon (season 2) and so on. |

Admittedly, it's been a while since I've watched the S series, and I only recently rewatched the first DVD (first 7 episodes), but it clearly says it's spring, and the girls are studying for high school entrance exams. If it does indeed run into winter later on, and the Super S series is clearly in summer, then that means Chibi-Usa stayed with them for well over a year. |

| I always believed all of the movies were kinda of meant to be just a side thing, and not really to be fit in with the anime itself.
Something to enjoy, but not something for us to think too hard about xD
But that's just my own opinion hehe :3 |

| I watched the serie three times. And every times (except the first time of course), I watched the movie as "parts" of the serie. I fit R between the end of the break up and before the travel to the future. I imagine the S movie right after Viluy's death. (Thought I'm sad it can't fit anywhere in the manga continuity -o-" as the infinity arc takes place after april and before september) And the SuperS movie would be between the second and thrid episode of Stars. (I like to blame Mamoru's uselessness on Nehelenia's curse :B) Thought you would have to ignore the Non-Super Fuku for the outers. |

| Hmm, so, if there is snow later in the S series, does that mean that entire story arc stretched from spring through summer through fall (when they start high school) through winter? |

Well the Japanese school year tends to start in Spring not Autumn. So I assume S stretches across over an entire year, their last year before high school. SuperS can't have been more than a month or two, since they haven't started high school and they're done with their exams and we don't see them at school so they must be in between the school years. Summer definitely occurs during Sailor Moon S, since Usagi's birthday is in June. Personally I don't strive to fit the movies into the contunity of the anime. |

| I don't know that we can fit the R movie in the continuity anywhere. It's been awhile since I've seen it, but doesn't Chibi-usa know Usagi is her mother in the R movie? But she finds out Usagi is her mother in the future and then becomes Black Lady right after that so I see no where in the canon where Chibi-usa can know about Usagi being her mother without being Black Lady at the same time during R. The only place I could see it taking place is maybe there was a longer break before the final battle against Wiseman and Chibi-usa's departure in the last episode than the TV show lets on but that seems a bit of a stretch to me. The S movie could take place after Vliuy's death but then why is there no reference to Hotaru and the Inners seem too happy in that movie for it to fit in during that distressing point of the story. Maybe the SuperS movie could fit in right after the ending of SuperS but before the start of Stars but there's no explanation for how they're still able to use Moon Gorgeous Meditation when Pegasus isn't around anymore or where Chibi Moon got her Moon Rod from. |

| The movies can't really fit into the anime continuity very well because they take liberties with characters and abilities, so I just kind of pretend it's a different timeline or something. XD And I think Pluto being in the SuperS movie immediately takes it out of the running, since she was supposed to be gone until Stars. Weirdly enough, the SuperS movie could probably fit the manga canon better, since Chibi Moon can attack with the Moon Rod there without Helios, and Pluto is alive at that point. The R movie might fit a little better there too. |

I don't think R would have fit, mostly because by the time Chibiusa finds out Usagi is her mother and stops being Black Lady, she awakens as a senshi. For the movie to fit into the manga timeline, I feel like there would need to be Sailor Chibimoon |

| So basically, R movie makes no sense at all in terms of Chibiusa. XD |

| If we ignore her it can fit pretty easily. |
