| Ok so, I'm watching Sailor Moon S with my little sister tonight and after conflicting in my head a bit about this character I thought it would be fun to bring it up here.
"The Messiah, or Sovereign in the English dub, was the being Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto were looking for during the Infinity arc of the manga and Sailor Moon S season of the anime. The Messiah was revealed to be Sailor Moon during the battle with Pharaoh 90." - Wikimoon
While when Tuxedo Mask goes to the Outer Senshi to talk they say they come from the past and future while in another it is shown that Uranus was awaken as a Senshi by Neptune.
It shows all three for the past; maybe saying Uranus died while Pluto was left to keep watch over the door, also explaining why Neptune would have awakened Uranus, though then they are also much different from the Inner Senshi.
Then on Pluto's part saying that is in fact the same Pluto they met in Sailor Moon R.
So while on an earlier episode Uranus states that maybe Moon is the Messiah then takes it back since she can't stay in Super form and though Chibi Moon doesn't fully transforms, she gets the hair clips and they cleary stay.
Also the fact that Super Moon's wings don't match the Messiah's nor does she keep them as they only appear when she transforms.
Also close to the end of Sailor Moon S, Mistress 9 herself goes after Chibi Moon for her power.
So being the Messiah seems to have purple/pink hair maybe she is actually Queen Serenity I or Small Lady/Chibi Moon? Though since Moon is the current in control of the Sliver Crystal she is magically able to become the Messiah in a way, though in the end not true?
Though also if you look at the way her hair is, it reminds me of Galaxia, though the part isn't centered like her's and of course again hair color doesn't match.
Maybe even the far, far future of Kousagi? A little known character who's hair is said to match and also is shown to have much power.
...
ANYWAY~ I don't know. Just my thoughts and also wondering what others think.
Also I want to say I haven't gotten this far in the Manga, reading it as it is Re-Released in America and though I have watched it in original Japanese I don't remember much/always watch in English since I normally double task and don't pay 100% attention. X'D
But I've been watching it since it first played in America and own it. >w<

| As old as this particular topic is, I do need to mention the that wings of the imagined Messiah looks like those the fabric wings that are often seen with Neo-Queen Serenity. I'm only saying. |

| I always thought Saturn was the messiah. I thought they explain that Moon couldn't stay in her Super form that long because she was not the messiah. |

| I'm not clear on the Holy Grail role has in the anime — my memory is rather foggy. Nonetheless, I feel that the Grail represented hope for the anime, with that hope was more positive or negative depended more on the holder — the Grail being held by Mistress 9 was the darker hope, a consequence of Mistress 9 holding the Grail was that Hotaru also held it and in turn woke up as a Sailor soldier, which is a mix of darker hope and positive hope.
With all that, Sailor Moon did not have enough hope to transform into Super Sailor Moon, when Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune began to be believe in Sailor Moon it cause some sort of spiritual uplift. I'm not sure how to word it. |

| Well, I just recently read the manga's volume 5-7. (So almost all of S.)
But the Holy Grail; the other Senshi send their power to it and Sailor Moon "drinks" it to become Super Sailor Moon. As to compare to the Anime, I either haven't gotten that far or it's just totally different.
So yeah, very confusing. XD |
