We have been in discussion the last week or so on a brand new site feature. We will be introducing a new points system for the members of GC. Members will be able to earn points for a variety of things that range from winning games, helping out, and donating money to the site to help with AD costs, prizes, shop items, and giveaways. Points earned will be able to be spent at a super special shop upon reaching the Lotus Crystal level here on GC. Much of this is still being hammered out so I can not give you the exact specification yet so please refrain from asking.

The main purpose of this thread is to ask members what they want to see as prizes, both real life and site specialties.


The items in the store will change/rotate out depending on how much money and time we have to buy and create new things. Here are the things you can expect to find currently:

These are items I purchased with my own money for the store and currently have in my possession:

3 Sailor Moon Laminated Posters - Size: 15 inches by 21 inches (38 cm by 53 cm)
2 Hard Cover Sailor Moon Notebooks sealed - Size: 6 inches by 9 inches ( 15 cm by 23 cm)

Stickers from my shop: SimplySM

What about posters with custom made graphics on them? Like how some people do Avitars and Signatures but on actual posters?

Maybe people could submit stuff of their own to be added to the shop? Pending admin approval of course

Gah >.< I guess I didn't explain it very well... These are items you get with using Points you have earned, not by actually spending money on them Just to clarify since the term "shop" might be confusing.

We want members to be rewarded for activity and get real life items for being a great member on here ^^


I hope that clears it up a little. Once we roll this out it will make a lot more sense.


@ - Mysteryloveandjustice - As for posters with custom graphics, I'm afraid not. That is a very complicated issue, and all real life items will be legally made. As for if people can add stuff to the shop, that is undecided at the moment. To be honest and fair, different people have a different opinions on what they like graphic wise, if we chose one user's stuff over another it might cause problems. I will also want to keep things consistent, and our Graphics Admin, Kakyuu is pretty awesome.

Ooh if you give me sometime, maybe after the holidays..I could make bracelets..ones that are specifically made to represent a certain senshi..ooh I think I will plan and think about this and get back to you

However we are mostly just asking to get a list of what you want, not what you can do ^^

I love the idea of the poster and wall scrolls, I've been meaning to look at some but this seems like the perfect way to obtain them. Sounds like a great idea!

Maybe we could take smaller prizes and bundle them...like a gift basket? Maybe as a prize for something? Maybe some members could contribute to the basket...then they could all send their contributed items to one member who will put the basket together and mail it? Or maybe it could be a giveaway or something..

We could look at that in the future, but for now we want to start small and basic, it's going to be a pretty complicated process and huge to implement as well as other things we are adding soon.

The stuff I'm most interested in is definitely old toys, but I know those are probably hard to get ahold of because no one wants to get rid of that kind of stuff! Of course I agree with Lady with the figures too

There are GE coffee mugs coming soon that would be awesome! There is one for every senshi, too (and Tuxedo Mask )
GE buttons
GE cell phone charms

I think these are more on the inexpensive side. ^^

For sprites and whatnot, perhaps some cats?

And I had an idea! All the senshi forms (classic, super, eternal), but each cost more points than the proceeding one? Like Eternal Sailor Moon would obviously cost more than like classic Sailor Moon.

Ringtones would be a good idea! I've been making my own, so I could certainly make some to be put up in the store. I can make them for both iphone and phones that use .mp3 files. ^_^

But regardless, this sounds like a cute and neat idea, although it also sounds like a loooot of work o.o! Good luck with implementing it! Would you be wanting to include member-made items sometime in the future (maybe after things are running smoothly and everything?)

^ Pretty much. That is why I bought some real life items to start us off plus we'll have a variety of sprites and dolls to start off with. However getting a good list going will help us.
