| Well, that was the second big announcement of the year after the 2013 anime: As you might know, Japan is going to have a new release of the manga, with all the colored pages and artwork... in color! And surely in a better quality of paper, and in an A4 format, just like the original release in Nakayoshi. (This kind of release is called a kanzenban, right?) It will be 10 volumes long (2 per arcs?), one for all the side stories, and one more for ALL of Codename: Sailor V.
As the first volume is going to be out soon, I think it could be good to talk about it ^^
Anybody knows if the covers are available? What do you think Takeuchi-Sensei will draw as the new covers? Some random drawings like for the tankubon, or some uniform one-tome-per-character like the shinsoban, or each illustration being related to the arc?
EDIT: My bad. The "all colored page won't be greyscale" thing is pure speculation.

| Holy crap! this is amazing! Does this mean every PAGE will be in color, or just the art work featured in the first few pages? |

| Still unclear, but my bet is on the former: Only the pages colored in Nakayoshi will be in color. Thought a fully colored version would be wonderfull.
This is what happened for the 2005 (20th anniversary) release of Saint Seiya.
I saw it on moonkitty.net ^^ |

| Most kanzenban tend to be like that, pages coloured in the original magazine-run are usually in colour, though there might be a few bonus ones for, say chapter titless and iconic pages. I'm not sure if entirely new covers would be made, we might get the shinsoban covers, one on the back, one on the front, selected tankobon covers, older artwork reworked into cover-format or new ones entirely. There's not very many details on this, even in Japanese. |

| It's actually an "aizoubon", not "kanzenban" - and only the first few pages of each book will be in color, just like the shinsoubon version. The paper size will be significantly larger, though, and I hear rumors that the artwork and dialogue will be slightly updated, so we'll see! I plan on buying the set once it goes on sale and I can let everybody know! |

| ah that explains why i couldn't find very many details, if its an aizoban there will definitely be alot more interesting features, and most likely to have new covers altogether |
