| So who is this army of monsters that always seems to appear behind Jaedite whenever he speaks to Queen Beryl and why do they suddenly stop appearing? They look more human like and more sinister and mysterious than a lot of the MOTDs they end up sending out to fight the Sailor Guardians but the series never explains who they are or where they come from or their goal. |

| I'm pretty sure the monsters are there even when Jadeite isn't. They're not tied to him, they're just some of Beryl's servants I guess. I assumed the generals had a higher ranking among them. |
