Hi, my name is Dia (Dee-ah), and I'm currently 21 years old. I've been a huge fan of Sailor Moon ever since I first saw the dubbed version on TV here in the US. I'm not sure if all of you are familiar, but I was a part of a Sailor Moon fan community called Moonfeathers back in the day where I was a fairly active participant. So, a friendly shout out to any members who might've overlapped between these two forums !

I credit Sailor Moon with pretty much changing my life. Without it, I doubt I would've become interested in other manga/anime, foreign culture and music, drawing, and writing... It pretty much formulated my interests and what makes me who I am today. It also helped me accept my sexual orientation (bisexual) by giving me "role models" who didn't fit the norm either (Haruka/Michiru, Fish Eye, etc), but who still managed to be ultimately good, worthwhile people at the end of the day. The show taught me to stand up for my beliefs no matter what, and to never give up. For that, I will always be thankful.

Hello and welcome to the forums :3 It seems we have similar ideals stemming from our beloved fandom! Sailor Moon definitely seem to have given a lot of us role models and people to look up to while growing up. It's wonderful. I love how Sailor Moon can give so much to its fans, it makes me love it even more hehe

I have never heard of Moonfeathers before, but maybe there will be others who have!

Are Haruka and Michiru your favorite senshi? (If so, you and Tsuki will get along right off the bat! xD)

I've flip-flopped favorite senshi for pretty much my whole life, haha. I think my first favorite was Sailor Jupiter due to relating to her (brown hair, tomboyish, etc), although I definitely can't cook!

As of right now, I have to say that I have a great admiration for the grace, elegance, and beauty that Sailor Neptune defines. I suppose it makes sense then for me to be role playing as the great Haruka with a friend! :3

It seems as though as I got older my appreciation of the outer senshi grew exponentially where-as when I was younger I related more to the carefree optimism held by the inners. I'm attracted especially to the "betrayal" acted out by Uranus/Neptune in Stars, and their continual sacrifice through-out the series as they tried to protect Usagi from herself (her foolish belief in a triumph that could come about without loss) while ultimately giving in to her vision as the messiah.

However, ultimately I love all the senshi as individuals and for different reasons... except for Sailor Mercury for some reason. I could never relate to her.
